It didn't had adamant nature though, so I used adamant mint to get the same result. Now I can spend the remaining time to train a pokemon for the Iron leaves raid.

Suggestion specifically for Iron Leaves raids: Incineroar, with the ability Intimidate.
Nature: Adamant or Jolly. - (The mints are easy to find if your Incineroar isn't already Jolly/Adamant, but you can also buy mints in the Paldea cities Cascarrafa, Levincia, Mesagoza and Montenevera).
Moves: Will-o-Wisp, Bulk Up, Darkest Lariat.
"Why?" : Intimidate lowers Iron Leaves' attack, Will-o-Wisp does it further with burn & gives you damage over time, Bulk Up boosts your own Attack & Defence 1 stage, and then you can go nuts with Darkest Lariat.
Will-o-wisp/Bulk Up again if Iron Leaves has the time to get rid of its' status and your stat changes.
[Note: If you terra into Dark, be careful of Iron Leaves' move "Megahorn". Losing the fire type now means Megahorn (bug attack) makes super-effective damage on your cat. Also, if you tera into Fire you will no longer resist Iron Leaves' psychic move "Psyblade"].
Incineroar is available in both games with DLC and the Fire/Dark typing makes sure Incineroar either resists or takes neutral damage on all of Iron Leaves' moves. As an additional bonus this fire cat is many people's favorite Pokémon, so chances are both casual and especially VGC players already have him and can just easily change up the moves to adjust for the raid.

I did iron leaves leaves in about 7 moves ….. 😍😍 thank you for helping out a fellow northern on his struggles …. I will add I don’t built up my team correctly which is why I kinda struggle … i know I should but it irritates me I just like to play catch Pokémon and that about it I’m not into competitive play or anything
But I’ve now got them both in 40mins

I want to thank you for your help. Without your advice, I wouldn't have been able to catch Walking Wake today. I have been saving this event until I have beaten Scarlet, which was yesterday. It didn't quite go the way you described it. I got knocked out after dealing a ton of damage, but not enough to knock out Walking Wake outright. Still, I had plenty of time, and I beat it on my first try using basically all of your tips.

I am a violet player, and when they released the IL and WW back then i managednto catch them. IL was a solo annihilape bulk up rage fist. For the WW took a while but i managed to join a party in which we could have one shot it since, i was using miraidon and someone used fake tears, if the other two used one atk cheer and the other used another fake tears i feel it was a clean one shot.
I'm happy there back since I recently got violet and completed it so can't wait to catch iron leaves

I used Iron Hands against Walking Wake but removed the Life Orb as it was causing too much damage to myself. I replaced it with the Booster Energy and replaced Wild Charge with Thunderbolt. This turned out to be more effective and saved me from taking so much damage as Walking Wake was cheating big time using 2 attacks per turn. Kingambit defeated Iron Leaves first try while holding the Life Orb. I used your suggested method but somehow the Iron Leaves survived the Kowtow Cleave attack by the skin of its teeth and put up its shield. I recommend using the 3 Swords Dance but swapping out the the attack up cheer for an Iron Defense instead. Nonetheless though I got them both this time around. Yessss!!!
Primarina seems like a promising new online tech support hire. Light Screen, Snowscape, Helping Hand, Life Dew, and then, Aqua Ring and Amnesia if needed.
More wild pick is Tentacruel with Acid Spray, Skitter Smack, Aqua Ring, Acupressure, and Screech, I guess.

Thank you for the help! originally I was gonna try to get iron leaves with a Shiny Lokix (That I named Master Chief since the shiny has a similar color scheme) and then tried a Cerudlege with swords dance and a mirror herb, both didn't get me anywhere. one time I even had it at a microscopic amount a hp left but we still lost.

How about that new supercell slam over wild charge for iron hands? Counts as a stab since it's an electric type move with base power of 100(10 more over wild charge) and 95% accuracy. Problem is if it misses it has the same effect as hi-jump kick and you definitely faint after belly drum. Seems it's compatible for iron hands and can learn the new move from the indigo disk dlc via TM210.
Finally I'm going to get myself the one for the Violet version.
I caught them both first time around so there's no need for me to update to this event especially since I would lose the delibird outbreaks for item printing. So far I've gotten 1 master ball 2 beast balls 3 sport balls 1 safari ball and then a couple of the other more common ones it's such a good system

I've stocked up on 999 delibird parcels 3x already, got 6 masterballs, 5 beast balls, multiple safari and fast balls but not 1 sports ball! Really love thus feature though
@@DaneOrschlovsky I was contemplating doing that for the dratini scales cuz they're basically the same percentage, that would also stop the fact that I keep getting shiny delibirds as I have like 10 from this event lol
Max HP/ Max physical defense Overqwil with intimidate is also really good against Iron Leaves. Resist all of his moves and hit back with super effective Crunch. Can switch to Foul Play when he uses SD. I also put Curse on mine to help my defense when he inevitably wipes away the intimidate.
I had little difficulty with using the victreebel with giga drain metronome build that was recommended for the samurott raid event.
I used zekrom with fusion bolt dragon pulse imprison and bolt strike on its first try but this was my first ever walking wake raid so I was excited when it worked lol
I did both the raids with my friend yesterday. Iron leaves was by far the most challenging one, but Chien Pao and Archaludon destroyed it. Walking wake was defeated with about 5 hits from my miraidon. Thanks for the build!

I love that these raids came back. Now I can get that Walking Wake in a Beast Ball, but disappointed that Walking Wake’s Tera type for the raid isn’t dragon, like how Iron Leaves’s Tera raid is psychic, because of their second typing.
Honestly with how accessible shards are now, it’s very easy to just change it.
I already have got them both from the very first time they came to the raid.... so, is there any other raids for those who got them before? anything about seven stars raid after iron bundle?
I hope they do events for the new Indigo Disc DLC exclusive paradox mons soon. Would be nice to be able to get them without a second copy of the game and a second copy of the DLC
Already caught Iron Leaves the first time but beat it again with Tera Stellar Arceus holding Dark Plate running Judgement, Giga Drain, Acid Spray, and Cosmic Power
Alternative for Scizor into Iron Leaves is swords dance and fury cutter, technician, shell bell, 252 attack, 252 health. Get to +6 and you’re doing stupid good damage with FC and all the boosts (plus FC keeps stacking every turn). Don’t have to worry about any or IL’s attacks either since you resist everything.
Used scizor sward dance and x scizer. Had resistance to all iron leaves attacks (hardley broke a swett) and just one sward dance boosted attack for great damage.

Considering the double resistane to mega horn and leaf blade and resistance to the uthers plus type damage advantage it's a great option. I sometimes have trouble on raids cause terra type can make it tough to get type advantage when the terra pokemon still retains attacks of it's origional type to counter your chosen pokemon. More then afew times I feal I have an advantage untill I get hit by supercefective moves.@@neeko.b
I've found damage output isn't the issue just alot of pokemon of choice can't survive multiple attacks.
I fell back onto a toxapex and spammed chilly water to lower attack and it let the iron leaves battle actually play out

How does leveling work in raids? Like is there a level limit where whether my pokemon is lvl 50 or 100, when I enter the raid it becomes lvl 50 or do raids not limit your level? If not, then what do you think is the bare minimum of lvl needed for the hardest raids :b
To my knowledge it doesn't limit your level, but it definitely doesn't raise your level. If you're fighting a 5 star, you need to be level 100 for sure, and you should be EV and IV optimized if you're joining an online raid of 5 stars or more.
I would say use Ogerpon (if you got it) with Sword Dance snd Horn Leech. It took down Walking wake easily
Archaludon works well too as metal sound reduces the SpD of iron leaves and all the moves boost stamina and are already not very effective (1 move even 0.25x DMG)
I have been struggling for two days trying to get iron leaves, I don’t think I’ll be able to do this shit before they go away again, but hopefully this will help :/
How do you even make your EV’s those specific numbers?
Raging Bolt gets rising Voltage and calm mind so if its holding booster energy and paired with Miraidon its gonna wreck after one calm mind
It would have made more sense to just update area zero by making the new paradox mons common spawns like the others including walking wake(Scarlett) and iron leaves(Violet). Also fix Union Circle for Area Zero to.
just booted up Violet as I still need Iron Leaves. I have a Scizor ready to go, however, I cannot find Iron Leaves anywhere. Do I have to do the gym leader rematches and the tournament thing in order to unlock these raids even though they are 5 star and not 6 or 7 star?

I used iron valiant fairy tera lv.100 on both of them but i used mud slap protean meowscarada lv.100 on iron wake and rain dance thunder ampharos lv.100 on the other one.(i have 2 switches and both games, saying that to avoid confusion) limit break for the W.

Osirus, dude, your miraidon build worked a lot better than Iron hands. 252 hp, 252 special attack with clear amulet hold item. Metal sound (hit), Charge, Electro drift, in that turn order, and walking wake goes down.

I used a similar build but had magnet as the item, turn 1 belly drum, turn 2 electric terrain, turn 3 thunder punch OHKO
The Skeledrige set work good for the team Terra raid. Even with a team of scrubs. The only moves I even used were wil-o-wisp, hex, and lick. With the Stellar Tera type. Didnt even pay any EVs/IVs any mind. Glad it did, because Iron Leaves getting frustrating with incompetent players bungling the team raid. .
since i only bought pokemon scarlet i tried using a lvl 100 shiny lucario with thunder punch since its my best. im still trying after an hour 😅 cant get past the tera
Meridon can learn eerie impulse that would help as well 😅
For some reason I still brought my Annihilape to fight Iron Leaves and it never used psyblade on me and I got to setup the 1 hit rage fist
Here's a good build that's cheap first ogerpon lvl 100 just standard stats that it originally has change it's moves to ivy cudgel grassy terrain and horn leech and start with the terrain past that good luck

Something's going on with the Kingambit build. I followed the exact same build, minus tera (you shouldn't need tera), followed the exact same steps, and still couldn't pickup a KO on Iron Leaves. I double checked my nature and IVs and they are fine. My EVs are fine too. One test got Iron Leaves to red, another got it to yellow almost red.

Iron leaves raises a random stat. Not just attack. In the video it did sp Def.
It raises it's highest stat not a random stat.

Unfortunately, the timer is really lagging in the Tera Raids. Each time a pokemon faints, a big chunk of timer disappears. It's really frustrating. I think i'm at my 10th attempt and I can't catch it because of the timer...

What level is your Kingambit at? When I used it against Iron Leaves I got my butt kicked.

That only happens if he’s caught it. You can only catch it once

Yes solo is for both those who don't have Online Subscription (myself inculded) or just don't wanna be paired up with bad real Players messing up the Raid.

10:07 Wishing GF just added egg moves to the TM pool already. The mirror herb method introduced in Gen 9 is just TMs with extra steps, and a waste of time.
I need discord I guess cuz I'm beginning to think almost no one understands type match-ups. Joining a random raid is almost impossible only to find 2 that pay attention and 2 players who just want to show off their cool shiny that has absolutely 0 use towards the goal

If you want an easy way to get WW, then just do a 252 SpDf and SpAtk Arboliva with clear amulet and have growth and giga drain and spam away.
