This is a great reviewer buddy. I find this video to be quite refreshing and absolutely different from the regular hype videos we see all the type. I appreciate videos from people who truly use the phone and not just throw out a bunch of specs. Looking forward to still getting one later on. Well done.

Originally, I wanted the Simply White, but they were sold out, so I got the Stormy Black instead and now I'm happy I did. I really like the way it looks with the black metal sides.
I have never had an issue with accidental touches with the curved display. If you are having this happen, set the back sensitivity to the lowest setting. Settings-System-Gestures-System Navigation- Tap gear icon - Set left and right edge to "Low".
FYI, I am running the Android 12L Beta 3 on my Pixel 6 Pro and I can honestly say this version has significantly improved my usage of my P6 Pro. The battery life has increased significantly, I have not had any glitches, lags, crashes or degredation whatsoever. The phone actually feels faster and smoother. The fingerprint sensor works much better, I an no longer having WiFi or cellular connection issues and my phonecalls and Bluetooth earbuds sound crisper.
For the screen brightness, you can pull down one. Just use two fingers instead of one all the way down the screen and the notification shade will pull all the way down exposing the brightness slider.
Noise in selfie camera issue has been fixed in Android 12L Beta 3.

Great video! i think the battery life is a good example of software/hardware optimisation as i regularly get 2 full days (8-9 hours screen on time).

Video quality is really good. Used it beside my s21 ultra for awhile. Testing everything basically.

I'm so glad you mentioned the antenna bands. They look awful on every model of the pro except the black. They could have at least made the accent on the back the same color but for some reason they didn't do that either. So odd to me. They really didn't need to have it like that at all. There are antenna lines and other 5g phones that do not have these things on the top portion of the phone. Great video.

My experience with pixel phones is that they get better over time with updates. My pixel 4xl just kept getting better over it's life. So far the same can be said about my pixel 6 pro. After latest updates it's even better and honestly runs the way it should have at launch.

I had the Nexus 6 awhile back and then went to the Note 9. The Note is/are amazing phones, but I kept finding myself trying to make it look and act like a Pixel. I've got the 6 Pro and couldn't be happier, although the S22 Ultra looks good too, but just couldnt love One UI

With the S22 Ultra dropping in a couple weeks, the Android world is about to get shaken. I can't wait to see a review on the S22 Ultra and see how it stacks up against the previous models and it's contemporaries.

S22 ultra is pretty much Note 20 ultra + s21 ultra's cameras and 5000mah battery. And overpriced!

I love my pro. Coming from the note 9, I think it handles the same. Same size-ish same weight-ish. I've had a Samsung phone since the s3 and they're definitely getting boring to me.

Phe main Pixel 6 problem for me is that I often turn of the screen when I want to adjust the sound level, and when I got the "Sorta Seafoam" I use a bright wallpaper that match the phone and then complain for the extra power that use :D

I've owned one for a while and I about 85% love it. the camera is great. and I disagree with you on the build. my phone hardware has zero issues. I have issues with the software. Even now , the fingerprint sensor is slow. it is way more consistent these days but it is still slow. And there have been times when the phone has turned on without me touching the fingerprint. that scares me. screen time is about the same as every phone I've ever used. I had a samsung s21 and the battery was pretty much the same. Finally, I do not like the new design language overall. it is butt ugly. ugly ugly ugly. aarrrgghhh. this is the first time I have regretted changing to a phone.

What Android version on Pixel phones DON'T make it to where you have to swipe down twice? I see that complaint so often, but it's always been that way on my phone. One swipe is notifications, two is all the quick toggles and brightness. What's new? Why is this such a complaint?

    • @jchen_tech
      @jchen_tech  2 года назад

Not necessarily new but still a complaint

It’s not there processor from the ground up . It’s a modified previous generation Samsung exynos.

I'm getting rid of my Pixel 6 Pro. UI is awful (had to install Nova launcher), adaptive brightness is useless, fingerprint scanner is terrible (slow and weirdly bright), and my display died out of the blue and I had to have it replaced. I came from a Note 8; The bar for a new phone wasn't very high, and this phone totally missed the mark. Camera is nice, IMO.

When I use my pixel 6 pro it honestly feels like a high powered budget phone, this phone feels like a £400 phone not the overpriced £850, I have a Realme 6 with more features and unless you're using the cameras the experience is better on the realme and it cost £240. Realme fingerprint sensor is perfect but the raise to wake online with face unlock just shits all over the pixel phone. Battery life is 40% better and has true fast charge at 33watts 0% to 100 in 50mins compared to 2hrs on pixel. Disgraceful that this phone is getting so much praise.

I need a phone that opens up every time and less than a second because of business purposes in picking up calls. How is it taking calls?
