biplanes are my fave, got two mamba 60s and a mamba 10...going to do the power upgrade to the 10. the stickers will fade and get pock marks over time as bugs and stuff hit it....
I bought this plane after watching your video. You are right, the quality is meh but not bad. Overall I'm happy. You mentioned that it was lacking power, so I made sure I had something to replace the motor. I installed a 15 size motor, 1ooo kv on 4s, swinging a 12 x 6 ApcE. I had to make standoffs and bring it out 12mm. I also removed the Esc, took the heatshrink off in the center for better cooling. It's an absolute beast with this power setup, I can't wait to fly it. I appreciate your video's. I also purchased another airplane, Extreme flight laser 6o after watching your review. Keep the video's coming
Ya the v1 needs a serious power upgrade. I’m shure there’s something I’m missing but sold this over a year ago. The EF stuff is just far superior to this. A lot of people complain about EF pricing but once I flown one I was hooked and I just can’t look back to foam pnp 3D.
Ya its definitely a good amount definitely happy with the deflection on this most other foam models only have 45. Deflection at most witch is never enough for now days 3d requirements
Me personally I’d recommend the twisted hobby’s 39” flat outs they fly a lot more similar to EF planes than this will. I’ve got several videos of the TH 39” on my channel.

Do I need that certain receiver for the aurora gyro to work? So I would not be able to use my frsky?
To my knowledge it was not compatible with frsky although if your getting this for purely 3D flying I would not recommend it.
