Never thought about using 240mm instead of 280mm I have. That will give me more room for cable management. Also raising the gpu and thus making rooms for bottom mounted fans is a great idea. With some tinkering, I'm tempted to build a second M2 with a RTX 5090 FE if that unicorn ever appears in the forest. Well done.
did youuse the accesoirs for vgpu mounting from ncase? was wondering because ncase vgpu kits are sold out on thier web site. what do i need? would it work with a chunky gpu too?
I have this case with everything but a video card sitting on a table, assembling this weekend. Will use my old computer until reviews for AMD new GPUs come out. anyway great video.
Thanks so much mate!! yeah, made the same mistake unfortunately, the one I used in the video is thise one: LINKUP - PCIE 5.0 Riser Cable, Right angle, black 5cm
This build has been made using the stock M2 grater. I would recommend adding an extra fan/radiator bracket and the longer feets (8mm angled). I wanted them for this build for the bottom fans to have a better intake but they are still in the mail.
@@smallrtech noted! Planning on just using air cooling for my 7800x3D as I'm downsizing from an NZXT H9 flow. Good tips and excellent vids, keep it up!
@@smallrtechThis is the layout I was planning as well, but have been debating if I actually need the extra fan bracket. Could you explain how it would be a better intake? It's my understanding that you can mount fans to the bottom of the case without one, and the included bracket is used up top for the radiator.
does 5:00 and 9:00 come with the case + do i have to get the same adapter to get a power button at the back or isnt there a stock on in the front on the regular m2 u think switching the noctua fans will be quieter and better cooling u also mentioned adding an extra fan where would u place it
the power cable and gpu bracket comes with the case, but you need to buy separately those silver standoffs I added to offset the gpu (they are m3 25mm standoffs). Switching to noctua might help with cable management and noise profile but will not perform better in terms of temperatures, those TR120 fans are performing really well when it comes to cooling. There is no space for a 5th fan unfortunately.
Don't really like this wave. It's dumping 300W of heat directly into the CPU radiator. Side mesh panel will collect dust on the GPU portion and will be highly visible. Glass should be there instead, but then it's choking the GPU. It's a stupid wave.
For high performance components in such a tiny enclosure as the M2, a negative pressure system like the one in the video is really the only way to maximize performance for all the components. Also, having the radiator next to the GPU is a non-issue; you only need to care about getting the hot air inside of the case out of it in order to not thermal throttle any of your devices. Having the top and bottom fans alienated with the GPU fins (as seen on the video) as well as the PSU exhaust will help to get all that hot air out of the system.

It doesn't need more room for cable management. I got a LF3 280 in it no problem as far as "cables" the hard part is the fact the LF3 is thicker.
Damn, I’ve only seen pics of the black Ncase but it looks even better in the video
Damn that mobo design
Which PCIE riser did you purchase? The one from Ncase or third party? I like those silver standoffs in the back too.
Now we want FormD T1!
soon 😉
Well done!🎉
Super clean itx build….man the itch is getting harder to ignore 😂
Same here. I have absolutely no justifications to spend the money on rebuilding my pc but these builds are too clean
Consider flipping your bottom fans to exhaust.

Good choice! Crossing fingers for that 9070xt to be a good card!!
I have the same setup in the M2! Very nicely built! What is the name of the holder for the graphics card?
@@KaitozTV Thanks mate! The gou support bracket is this one: a.co/d/eCqTjmS

Same motherboard, same case. Using a 9800X3D tho.
You think it would be able to fit a 3 slot GPU in this configuration?
I would prefer bottom fans set as intake rather than exhaust.
@@jacksontan9541 They are! They are reverse blade fans
@@smallrtech okay makes sense cos i was wondering the same
Could you not mount a 5090 or 5080 fe horizontally with this? It looks like the space is there.
@@Darkhorse1239xf nope, without the AIO probably but with the AIO impossible, there is only one slot available in this configuration
@ i see but with an itx board i can’t see why it couldn’t be done? The motherboard could just be lowered by a couple screws.
Where did you get the gpu vertical mount?
one lil' curious from me......
are this case backpack-able?
You would need a large backpack...
@@smallrtech i see i see i assumed, this case above 15litres right??
thanks for confirming
Thinking about getting the M2 for my next build. Does the daughter board come with it? Any extras you recommend getting with it?

do you keep it open?
Did you used the right angled psu extension cable?
Also for the top mounted radiator did you have to purchase the radiator bracket?
@@dubblo7905 no there is already one radiator bracket included, psu extension is stock.
Is the part you used at 7:53 included with the motherboard or the case? Or do you have a link? Do you feel like it was helpful?
It's part from the motherboard :)
it's a daughterboard included with the mobo
What is that song name ?
Which riser cable do you have there?

It’s all about the airflow through the case. How close the hardware is doesn’t make too much of a difference
Lol what itx case do you think doesn’t have those problems
