Good day, Mr.Taiwo; that's fantastic advice, bra! For me personally, car financing is good if you have a good stable job, money to spend and if you are sure you will be able to off for the car in the given period. Your adviser is great bra! In S.africa; if u buy a car through financing without a deposit, there's what they call a "ballon payment " which one has to pay at the end of the 5 year monthly installments. It's so ridiculous especially if you are not going to trade in your car for another one! And guess what, cars here are bloody expensive compared to N/America. Stay blessed 🤗🙏

You can’t tell people how to use their money. I am speaking for people who actually own the money in the bank statement they used to travel. I can choose to walk into a dealership and negotiate on a car, bargain on the msrp and scrap a few products they are trying to sell me because I can get those fixed by private car detailing garage, and then try to find out how much interest they are offering on financing deal , then last minute opt out and boom 💥 surprise the sales man I want to pay cash. Scrap all the interest cos I won’t be financing, I already scrapped the products and got a good bargain on msrp, the salesman would have to opt between selling the car rather than to have it sit there and accumulate debt for him… lol 😂 don’t teach people who have money how to spend it . We no dey use credit score for Africa , we no need am for America sef lol 😂 unless may be we want buy house

Not every new immigrant has $20-50k sitting in their bank account to buy a new car at the dealership. Also, paying cash doesn’t necessarily change things; dealerships typically don’t offer bonuses or incentives for cash payments. The purpose of my video is to advise fellow new immigrants in Canada to consider buying a used car first. It’s a more practical approach, especially when finances are tight and building credit is important for future needs like buying a house. So, while paying cash might work for some, it’s not a one-size-fits-all solution. Let’s focus on realistic and helpful advice for everyone!
