Where are the jobs? You pay income tax and still pay 13% tax on all purchases. How much do you have left? The funds you want to relocate with should be used to hustle in Nigeria, you can buy a 2nd passport when your finances are great.

Many international 'students' had no intention of leaving Canada after their studies were finished...and the statistics CLEARLY SHOW THIS....With a huge increase in asylum applications right AFTER the gov't reduced student numbers! These students lied to the gov't about being students only. We need to hold students and migrants to full accountability...with background checks, financial checks and other measures of their suitability to Canadian values and norms. And when their studies are over, THEY MUST BE REQUIRED TO LEAVE!

Honestly, Canada is failing because it has no way to adequately measure the impact of any policy it makes fast or slow. The issue is not immigrants students or non students if anything all they did was buffer the recession Canada should have gone through. the immigrants are the once who were busting the economy Canadians are cheap as hell most living pay check to pay check! the immigrant come with their life savings and start pending as they get off that plane..... the issue with Canada is they have poor governance structures and they are not competitive in the global Market the dollar is at a 4 year all time low. Also to be quite frank the Canadian work environment is too relaxed no stress shot hours why does the average person work 37.5 hours and not 40? why is overtime such an uncommon thing ? I get work life balance but still the Canadian work culture is lazy and that's why they are not producing enough and thus not attracting much foreign investments. They have so much natural resources yet still they not competitive why? When trump comes in with the new tariffs the dollar will slide even more while they continue to try to fix the simple polices when they should be fixing the spread of funds maybe health care cant be all free?? maybe it should be cut to 50% and the budget on all the unnecessary LGBTQ stuff should be cut.... Spend the money on things that matter u already taking 40% use it wisely why is Canada in so much debt? even better question why is the house hold debt more that the countries debt on a whole ? why is Real-estate the countries number one Earner ? and this is not a vacation destination like Hawaii? the reality is no one is investing in Canada, why because of the OECD's FDI Regulatory Restrictiveness Index any one know what that is?? it basically put a number on how easy it is for a foreign investor to invest in a country..... it very hard to invest in Canada because of taxes mainly and other stupid policies. Canadian big business and corporate overlords do noting with their large sums of money including the big banks they have money in the banks just sitting their not investing not putting into research or development just as lazy as the polite people. As a matter a fact it leads the Wester world in hording their profits and not doing anything substantial with the money... smh Then they trick us as stupid people about wanting to build more houses when the government fees to build just a one bedroom unit in Vancouver is $125,542 that's 2.5 times more than the survey cost! WTF!! Dont get me wrong I like Canada as a country but damn something needs to change fast! also noone is talking about the real issues.

back in jan i worked in a kitchen and cause of the rise in food cost , rise in property taxes , companies are closing down ... its a mess ... the Canadian dream has been destroyed by Trudeau! And its cold now till may so stay in your beautiful rich culture country! Its not worth it to come here right now .

Canada is not for the lazy most of born and raised , start working early as 14 and it never stops after that ...we work just to breathe the air ! And pay very high taxes ! and cause of mass migration, rent is super high! Plus grocery...

I was calculating and assessing all expenses migrant teachers coming to America go through. It's a lot. A saving of $500 is at best for a man with a child and a none working wife. That the global north is better is a perception. I see myself better in Africa. I have never been to America or Europe. Best place I have been is only South Africa but , considering the cold , distance and many controls up there, aiiii, I am fine here.
