I always love watching your videos. I've already prepared myself to switch a little to get into the system then from there I will be able to navigate back to my profession since its still related to some trades
@@williamsamuel-m8w what he means is that currently Canada is shifting their focus to in demand skills and if you've been following up on the new policies you will notice this shift towards health sector, trades, IT, engineering. Initially any program you do can get you PR not that it cannot now but will be more difficult but if the program is in one of the indemand skills now it's faster and straight forward to get PR
@@williamsamuel-m8w why do you think there's been delays in express entry draws recently its because they are focusing on individuals with the indemand skills needed recently. Else you have a provincial normination then you get ITA faster but without that even if you score high they will pick someone with lower scores but with the skills needed currently in Canada. Stay updated with information and policies
Trade is more like blue collar jobs like welders, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, truck drivers, heavy duty machine operators, HVAC installers, etc
Trades refer to jobs that require specialized training, skills, and expertise in a specific area. Examples of trade jobs include Welding Plumbing Mechanical Technician Electrician Roofing Technician Tiller Masonry HVAC technician etc
Still very good but if you check the job market you will see thousands of openings for trades industry. I'm an Architectural technologist but I'm looking at applying for a course in the trades industry. Once I get into the industry after school then it will be easier for me to navigate back to my profession. One thing is clear Canada always hires new immigrants/graduates at entry levels, then you grow from there. Their system allows them to do inhouse promotion instead of hiring someone else for higher positions. You might see a fork lift operator being promoted to supervisor position while you with a graduate certificate will be pushed to the side. The best is to find a way to get into the industry even if it's entry level then while working you show your potentials and experience in the field this way it will be easier for you to elevate faster

I don't think private colleges are eligible for PGWP presently because the Indians messed up the system of private schools. Whichever private school you are selecting ensure it's DLI listed if not after school you are going back home as you won't be qualified for a PGWP.
He mentioned a few at the end of the video... Welders, carpenters, dry wall installers, painters, truck drivers, fork lift operators, heavy duty machine operators, plumbers, electricians, HVAC installers, etc more of blue collar jobs ... Mechanics, car detailers, mechanic helpers ...
