When I first saw Taken, I thought the ending credits were one of the most powerful I heard. The softness of the first piano notes was so in "contradiction" with the tension of the ending of the movie that it was like a punch in my stomach. Truly amazing choice for the song.
“Give her to me.” Love this whole part especially when the assistant to St. Clair goes to check what “part of the word ‘quiet’ they didn’t understand” and he opens the door and BOOM! Right in the head.
I'm 37 and I've always loved this movie, I've seen it many times. Aside from the exciting action, this film is special to me because I believe in the fight between good against evil. I'm a Police Officer in a city with heavy crime and poverty and I've seen a lot of suffering and interviewed many victims. My daughter is two months old and I watched this again tonight and there were moments that messed me up because I can now truly understand the love of a father and his unending drive to keep her safe. As a former musician, naturally I had to look up this song because it was beautiful and powerful. I'm having another one of those moments right now as I type this comment while my wife and children sleep peacefully. God bless the protectors in this world we live in. Its a never-ending fight, but in the end, God wins.
Watched Taken again today and the soft piano was so thoughtprovoking for the struggle of Liam Neeson in Paris in a grim ordeal then 0:35 the bittersweet guitar was so hard hitting it reminded of Death Note OST maybe. 10:20pm 8.1.2024

i like this movie because the actuality of it, how this stuff actually happens ,but in real life, the chances of him finding his daughter again would've been very very slim.

The studio loved this film. First one made more than 10 times the cost, the second one made 8 times and the third made over 6 times the money. It was a major money earner. Even if they gave the stars a percentage it was worth it. It was a B movie that was never supposed to be a hit, but it made a billion Memes!
I think Liam person gets a bad rap for his acting sometimes. Some People don't like his style of acting but don't forget he is an Irish actor!! I think he's a very good actor!!
