How you have only 182k subscribers is beyond me. Every single hockey player on this planet should be following your content. You are a true gift to the sport and thank you so much for giving back.

Totally agree. No coach in the entire USA can come close to what Sean is sharing on You Tube

I need tips on how to lift the puck more while having the stick lower because it’s a big issue for me in 14 youth

Make sure you are sweeping the ice hard enough and using a complete follow through. I personally like a lower flex stick,,.seems to help me

1:49 For me this is very important especially when shooting from beyond the slot...it will help to not overshoot the net

Do you have any tips on doing a hard wrist shot, but keeping the puck on the ice? Like Wendal Clark kind of shots. Thx

Does the stick blade connect to the ice and how much?

Blade should hit the ice an inch or two (or three? never measured 😅) behind the puck. Play around with it and try to feel out what works best for you.

Why do some guys, especially newer ones to the game seem to be able to just wind up and whack the puck without knowing any of these 4 tips and their shots are near perfect? Where me, I practice, review, incorporate the steps and still maybe I'll hit a good one, once every 12 shots? What am I fundamentally NOT doing, that these new to the game players ARE doing?

It is way different when you take a slap shot with a stiff flex stick.

Disagree on the straight arms. Look at any slow motion video of an NHL slap shot, both elbows are at least slightly bent.
