When I ordered my gauntlet .30 I told Alex at Utah airguns that I wanted the best moderator for this gun. He recommended that I get the impulse air. So I ordered that also. I received everything. I went out and shot it without the moderator first. It was loud and I knew that wasn’t going to work for me. I got the moderator out and put it on and WOW! It was like a silencer from a movie. So awesome that I will be recommending this to everyone. When we go squirrel hunting I don’t believe that I’ll spook the others.
Great video. Im certainly subscribing. One of the draws of air guns to me is the quietness of them. I participated in my first hft match ten days ago. I went home and remarked how peaceful it had been. I was hooked. Ive now ordered a daystate revere safari and a brk ghost. I have moderators for each and will be trying to find what moderator works the best. I agree with the lack of confidence in the decibel meter apps. Too often the software of the phones microphone will affect the results. Its an ok comparison but not definitive. I may invest in a decibel meter down the road.
