Why do I love this genre of music and dance so much? It was written for me. My soul beats to this tempo - lively, hoppy, in constant motion, with light precise footwork and fluid arms. This dancer is superb! Moves in perfect rhythm to the music. Must have taken years of practice. I hope I can be that good someday!

This is how it's done. Lots of people dancing in this style don't quite know what to do with their arms, but your arms perfectly complement your steps and it just looks like you are floating, on top of the world and full of joy. Absolutely lovely work!

My favorites are pretty much anything by Parov Stelar, with some tops being Catgroove, The Phantom, Chambermaid Swing, and Mojo's Radio Gang. The dude basically laid the groundwork for the genre, so you'll see his name in nearly every mix anyway, but with good reason. Then there's Caravan Palace's "Dramophone", Charlie Puth's "Betty Boop", and Yolando Be Cool's "We No Speak Americano" for some variety of styles

We did similar when I was young; Lindy Hop, Charleston, Hitch Hiker, and many others. Love the new twist. I need exercise, so am working on some of the movements, again. Just found these videos... so great!

I was looking for good videos to show my mom different new dancestyles. I ended up on Melbourne Shufle, Cutting Shapes and Jumpstyle. End ended up on electric Swing. I will take a Jive on that Music! Elictirc swing is so awosome!
