- Yet another great enhancement here. SO much garbage was cleared out of the original picture by Topaz. VERY clear and sharp now. Resolve did a nice job of brightening a very dark picture and returning color back to it. You can see before/after shots here -- imgbox.com/g/tdLd2tQKsQ

Tremendous job with this, Dave. The sharpness and clarity from a game from almost 40 years ago is amazing.
Schonert almost duplicated his heroics from the '81 opener vs Seattle. It's a shame that both he and Sam have since passed away. Turk was only 62. Also, love those original Seahawks helmets!

Great work. Would love to see what could be done with the 1978 Steelers-49ers MNF game. Great game on a sad, notorious night. Only version out there is blurry, low quality.

Once again, top notch quality strikes back! I remember as a 13 yr old watching this, esp collinsworth’s 71 yrd reception and run like it was yesterday! Love the ads at the time as well(thanks for including them!!!)

those 1985 and 1986 Seahawks were such hard luck teams. People talk about 86 as one of the better teams to miss the playoffs entirely, but 1985 they had three 3 pt losses (one in OT) an above average offense and a top 10 D

Hey, I'm glad you extended the cutoff a bit for non-49er Games. If you have any Giants games from the 80s, no matter the year, especially any games with LT, I'd love to see them! Especially 85, 86, 87, and 89. I very much appreciate all that you do. Thank you :)
While I have extended my cutoff, I currently only have one non-49er game post-1984 left in my inventory.
@@davevolskysbackdoor5673 oh, well let’s hope you get some kind people to donate their files. I wish I had most of my old Giants games on VHS still, but most of them are gone to history and I’m technologically illiterate in converting what I have.
I have a trade in the works for about 60 or 70 1985-88 games, but they're mostly gonna be Seahawk games, plus it's probably going to be a couple months till I get them.
@@davevolskysbackdoor5673 No problem, don't mind watching any teams. I'm a huge Giants fan and I love to watch old Giant games from this era. However, I always did like the Seahawks uniforms and I was a big Steve Largent fan so that's cool with me :)

I think Criqui was the best back then. Trumpy was a good side kick, and he was smart enough not to talk incessantly like that wide receiver on the field for Cincinnati who now just won't shut up on the NBC Sunday night games. I frequently have to mute Collinsworth because he has to weigh in on everything like he knows it all. Trumpy, Len Dawson, Hank Stram and George Allen were all knowledgeable analysts, but they weren't in love with the sound of their own voices. The color analysts now think they are the show and they constantly talk when they should pick their spots. As soon as Tirico stops for a breath of air, Collinsworth launches on his annoying diatribes.
lol my dad still says 'oh, I must be in the front row' whenever the situation presents itself.
It's funny that these 2 teams played in sweltering heat in this game, but a year earlier, they played in snow, which was also in Cincinnati. Seattle won that game as well 26-6

This was an odd Seahawks team. They went 8-8, winning two in a row and then losing two in a row throughout the season.
Hall of Famer Steve Largent has a solid game 5-81 (16.2avg.) Largent had a better career avg. (16.0) than Rice(14.8),Moss(15.6),Owens(14.8)

A non-49ers game past the 1984 cutoff? Talk about a pleasant surprise (for this Seahawks fan that was born during the '84 season).
But all kidding aside, there were a lot of expectations for the Seahawks in '85 but they were a disappointment, because of an annoying trend of winning two in a row, then losing two in a row (on repeat all season long 😳) to end the season 8-8 and out of the playoffs.
Haha :) I've since relaxed my 'cutoff' a bit for non-49er games. I'll go up to about 1990 now.
