Imagine that this episode of Pokemon in a alternate universe where there was a Pinsir and a Magmar was both fighting in this episode instead of Scyther and Electabuzz in Dark City i could imagine what a interesting story that would be

You know… there’s a fanfic, Ashes of the Past, that dealt with this episode in quite a unique way. The events follow the show, but when Joytron #567 shows up, Ash offers them a compromise; BOTH are the official gym. When trainers beat one, they are informed that, surprise! Dark City’s Badge is actually TWO gyms. Honestly, I thought that worked for a place called Dark City.
Also, it looked like the animators watched a BIT too much Carrie for the Ketchup scene…
I can get behind the concept, but it would still mean at the end of the day the vicious gang leaders that have been tearing the town to shreds are still the ones in charge. XD

Yes. In the unabridged version, Jesse and James join the Kas Gym, and are referred to as their strongest enforcers.
Ash and company are recruited by the Yas Gym when a grunt watches Ash defeat Team Rocket. Ash and Misty don't want to join, but Brock agrees to join because the recruiter is a pretty girl.
This episode was full of so much stuff I couldn't find anyway to include that and keep it under a minute!

Either Kaz and Yaz should give up their dream of running a gym in town, and instead enter the Grand Prix. Yas has four Fighting Pokemon, and Kaz has Golem and Electabuzz. One of them could stay in town and have a gym, the other could win the P1 and win the belt and championship.
I think both gyms should be shut down and all who were in that brawl should be banned from pokemon training all together.

@@johnrainsman6650 Well, that means 1 of them will be allowed to open their gym even thought neither of them should because of the destruction they've caused the whole town.

@@johnrainsman6650 As Ash pointed out "They think Pokemon battling is like plain old fighting." Meaning, they won't battle with honor and respect for the game. They'll battling to inflict severe injuries, which is not what battling is about.
