The latest album sounds like a generic tech death band trying to sound like Nile. The songs are well written but it just sounds like every other band now.
I feel you... Karl, George and dallas wrote great music together and thats what made niles Sound unique. They are still great, but as you said it's not the same. Dallas is more than happy with what he does these days so i don't think he's going to come back.
I concur. Every time I see them now, they have a different line up.. the 2020 lineup was solid imo. I'm not really feeling this vocalists style.. reminds me of the current singer of cryptopsy lol, which I can't stand him either. Imo their best lineup was before George Kolias was in the band.. early 2000 era with Jon Vesano on bass/vox, Tony Laureano on drums, Karl Sanders, and Dallas Toler Wade guitar/vox. Amongst the Catacombs, Black Seed, and In Their Darkened Shrines is my favorite era/albums.
Really, only Karl Sanders here. All the members that have come and gone since Dallas are younger. Also, the parent/grandparent thing is relative. People who haven't been any of those things don't carry that burden and thus, they tend to act younger and look younger too.
That's right. 18 year old me was lucky to have seen Nile during that tour with Chief and Dallas - November To Dismember 2000. Goddamn what a lineup that fest was.

This lineup is pretty good, but I really prefer Dallas' vocals a lot more. Just my preference. And I think it's amusing that George is playing these drum parts with his fucking eyes closed. The fuck, lol...
@@HairyPixels i might be mistaken but a few months ago i read their bass player has health issues and their other guitarist did become a father and takes a break for his kid or something like that.

This is extremely good, new guitar is awesome but… it’s not Dallas ❤and Dallas isn’t Vesano either. Their best album was 20 years ago. Some of us will never move on. 😢
A bunch of sound that could have been better if you heard what they are playing.. Dont know their songs but know that they are highranked and should sound better than this..🤘☮
if you don't like them don't listen to them, if you think they're garbage it's because they're not your genre but above all you don't understand anything about them and you don't have the basis to be able to evaluate them
Before,Now, until forever Nile still so Sick.
So consistent, Nile is a progression of legends.
Not sure how I feel about this line up, I mean they still rip, but I dunno. Loved the last lineup, but man I wish they would get Dallas back!!

I miss Dallas as well, but ya gotta say the new dude does a good job man.
Yeah. karl, Dallas, George and Todd Ellis.
Carls custom Dean guitars are beautiful. Guy's been ripping for year's. Long live NILE
That guy in the background at 2:04 is freaking me out.

Man do I want to be at Brutal Assault one day
Thank you so totally much for posting !! Nile is one of the heaviest of all time !
That was insane show
George looks like he’s meditating while playing insane shit…
hoho this lineup is freakin sick, Nile NEVER disappoints.
The brutality of what is Nile they are the pinnacle of Metal
Realistically you just have to appreciate that some of these guys are damn near grandpa age, still playing and doing what they love
Depending on where you're from they might be great-grandpa age. Love Nile.
666% man. It's fuckin insane that Sanders and Kollias are still just fuckin ripping at full speed.

Holy mother of god!!!!!! 😮😮😮😮
Unholy spawn of Sekhmet 😜
Chief Spires was the best, nothing will compare to the tour when this came out
That's right. 18 year old me was lucky to have seen Nile during that tour with Chief and Dallas - November To Dismember 2000. Goddamn what a lineup that fest was.
The best Nile: Dallas Toler -Wade, Karl Sanders, George Kollias.
When they had Jon vesano. That guy was a fucking beast of a bassist

Jon all the way, no fucking competition. Dude looked like a barbarian on stage.
They sound better then ever!
For everyone not sure how to feel about this line up - They are amazing!

They sound great
Hail NILE
Karl's so badass! Love his lows.
Karl Sanders is a beast at metal. Not bad at making fried chicken either.
When you’re so good a drumming that you can play the song with your eyes closed
I never understood why Nile never released a live DVD. I probably wouldn't want one now though. When Dallas was still with them for sure.
Compared to all the other legacy death metal bands, this is pretty spot on. Nile forever
💪❤💪🤘
We Are They Whom the God's Detest .
This is the song when you type Old Man's Child - Black Seeds On Virgin Soil dum cover, realizing no one can do it, that comes up.
Band: George how fast should the song go?
Kolias: Yes
new lineup? don't recognize those two other guys...
That's Scott
@@infinidominionthey already replaced their singer I guess. That was quick.

Another lineup change?!? Is Karl difficult to be in a band with or something??
Best part 02:04 silence before the storm
2:44 best part
Kolias is a fucking machine
Who is the leadsinger of Nile? - Yes.
is karl's geetar scalloped?
Absolutely disgusting song! So fast, so grueling, so heavy

Narcotic wasteland is worth the line up change

Scott Eames - best vocalist for Nile! Fact.
Tech Death Jim Carrey
Мне показалась или Джордж уже с трудом вытягивает партии...?❤
Scott Eames🤘
No earplugs or ear monitors!
George Kolias is clearly wearing in ear monitors
The casts are at after yrs what you complaining about you were just being born
These high pitched screams are sooo out of place

Fucking sigh, who cares, the man is into it, God forbid
dude is a black metal vocalist

You are wrong.
Ignore the comments from the peanut gallery. These were touring the world before they were even born.
Kollias having a bad day on this

karl can never keep anyone in his band cus everyone hates him and cant stand working with him
That Guy with Black Hair looks like *Christian* who played on *Necrophagist's Epitaph* ❔
Thats not him, he is in Obscura and some other bands.
Check the COB cover in the style of Cannibal Corpse on my page
