I can understand how with enough practice, you can sing like that for hours. I can understand how with enough practice, you can shred like that. What I will never fathom, is how you can do both at the same time like at 01:07. Serious fucking respect here, that take some serious brain power!
Lignarius the first time I listened to them I assumed they had two people who only did vocals because, being a guitarist, listening to their albums I thought 'God this is so fast and technical', then I was floored when I saw them play guitar and do vocals.
watch how he times the vox with the start of each run down of the riff. riff is going to be muscle memory at that point. you rehearse that part for a stupid amount of time...then you can focus on your pronunciation and lyrics
When you're signing and playing, you're barely thinking any of the time, it's pretty much all muscle memory from your hands and your brain as you've done it so many times in practice. I always find it easier to sing and play when your going crazy like this as well as you don't need to focus on rests or anything.
Karl is probably the best musician in the whole death metal scene, in any country. Everybody tries to be so brutal and badass on the stage but seriously, look at him, smiling all the time and not giving a fuck. Just enjoying the view of his fans going crazy to his music. I fucking love this man
I think it’s fair to say though that there’s a lot of brutal fucking performers in the death metal scene who are just truly and utter possessed by the music they’re playing rather than trying to appease fans and look “badass”. Vitriol and old school Behemoth are some of the best examples I can think of for what I’m talking about. Nothing wrong with being badass as long as you fuckin mean it.
First saw these guys in 2010 at The Palladium in Worcester with Immolation and Krisiun. It was the day before my birthday. Literally aged to this song. One of my favorite show memories absolutely ever
That's the best -nile- show I've ever seen on you tube. The band should have recorded it and make it a live DVD... Awesome sound and the crowd doesn't sucked, actually you can hear a guy screaming at the end of the song at 3:25... \m/
Nile fuckin' slays! Both live and on album, nothing else to say about that. My favorite band of all time is still Death, but these guys are up there among the best, that's for sure.
These piece of shit earbuds keep falling out my ears cuz i cant stop smiling and laughing my ass off at how utterly ridiculous this band is at kicking ass. Holy fuck man

@@BunglesBreh anger is a gift
@2:27 that whistle. is that planned or what? its fucking perfect.
Hahaha I love Karl. He absolutely loves what he does.
George Kolias' percussion sound is a war machine, and in conjunction with Dallas' voice... Man, what a fucking blast!
Karl is so happy here he reminds me of the yellow teletubby with an ankh hanging down playing death metal.

I fucking love this man
Christofer Wall He's like the most chill and laid back dude, but has the most evil, demonic deathgrowl in the biz!

I love how they have 3 vocalists
audio is better than studio version.
yes they should make again the album with the last album producton
are you fucking out of your mind
The great point of the Black Seeds album is the raw and brutal production, sounding like an exorcism.
I had no idea what I was witnessing when I saw these guys live.. I hope one day to have this opportunity again
you can tell these guys just give it their all when they play. im so sad i missed them in seattle.

+Eero Hämäläinen Precisely that :D I think
Dallas wears a Waldrock Festival T-shirt from 2006. I got pretty knocked out in the Burning Pits of the Duat there. Nile IS the Best of All.
I'd love to hear one of their songs with the drum track removed. George's drums pummel you so hard non-stop, and really make their sound.
I LOVE THEM
We shall blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under the skyyyyyyy!!!
BLACK!

jesus christ approves to this song
The bible says there is only one god...
But I can see 4 on stage here....

@drdave313 Songs don't NEED a chorus or bridge. I prefer a linear structure
Karl should be in a McDonalds advert.
Just kidding, love Karl and Nile :D

Last part of this song is so.fucking.tight.
@Silenoz1991 You didn't like the job Derek Roddy did?
George Kollias and his eight feet make easy use of the kick-basses.
