Just bought WMT’s 6538 Submariner homage and can’t wait for it to get here! I believe it has the same case and bracelet as the sub-milius. Faux patina isn’t for everybody, but I don’t mind it when it’s applied to homages of vintage pieces that are virtually unobtainable.
@@WATCHISTRY just got the watch. As you mentioned in your video, they got everything just right... very impressive. The tropical dial is a faded brown. Would have possibly preferred the black dial but it’s actually pretty cool and makes the honeycomb pattern perhaps more visible. Very nice product that fits nicely on the wrist, even to someone who really enjoys vintage watches.
Nice watch although I feel the Baltic line nail the look without being so exact a copy? Of course fidelity is part of the appeal to most of their potential customers so.... That clasps a bit sub seiko too....
@@jamesbd45 are you joking or not? Have you ever heard of an automatic watch? This watch is automatic so it doesnt need a battery. You can look up on the internet what automatic watches are!
Nice watch but for the price they're asking I would expect at least a 9 series movement, not an 8. IMHO Tiger Concept has a similar offering without all that marketing at a way better price. I own a 5513P in the Snowflake configuration. Love it.

Congrats 👏
This is a homage watch done right. Looks amazing😊👌

This is really cool. Some of these “Homage Watches” are great. This one and the Dan Henry chronographs in particular. Awesome review, keep it up.
Much appreciated!
Nice video! I just ordered their Fifty Fathoms homage. Looks really cool.
Wish the original Milgauss wasn't so expensive.... I've ordered the tropical model from WMT....you convinced me. Thank you for the video!
Thank you! Please let me know what you think about the tropical dial!
@@WATCHISTRY Would have picked the black dial if still available, but we'll see what the tropical one looks like and report back!

Hi, how do you like the watch now? I'm thinking of buying the tropical one.
Thanks.
still enjoying it! let me know what you think of the tropical- I wondered if it might be even better with an aged dial to match the aged hands
I have to say that it's a nice watch but priced like it had a Miyota 9 series movement instead of the 8 series.
How does the bracelet feel? Because i got their new diver and the bracelet feels very light/cheap
The bracelet on the sub milius seems to be well made and feels sturdy to me
@@WATCHISTRY I'm about a wmt watch with a similar case, could you please try and measure the case thickness?
