- It's been a long time coming, but Ghost finally brought a certain song back into their set for their North American leg of the Imperatour with Mastodon and Spiritbox. Take a look at what it was like going to the Ghost concert in Trenton New Jersey on 9/9/22 at the CURE Insurance Arena and hear my thoughts on Ghost's Setlist, Chicken Pickin', and much much more!

Honestly, I would love if ghost did a tour with them as their only headliner, Like in 2018. That was an amazing time.
Same. 26 songs in one night was amazing, as was the pee break between sets.
My fiance, her sister, and I went to the show. My fiance got me into Ghost. Amazing show! We were in the pit 4 rows from stage in front of the fire ghoul. Definitely going to another show! 🤘

Omg The Con Clavi Con Dio/Prime Mover bit was my favorite!! Like I already loved those songs but live is 10x better. But I had most fun at the end I think with the last 3 songs because everyone was dancing and singing
I love the Dance Macabre/Square Hammer combo to end the show….though I really miss monstrance clock lol. But it absolutely works now that they’re in bigger venues and whatnot, gotta keep that energy going!
They played Griftwood in Youngstown. Year zero was an ok song for an album but they played that and it was awesome live.
Year Zero is definitely a live song. Especially since the guitars are a lot more prominent compared to the studio version.
And ya know, the endless amount of pyro also helps

.....year zero was an ok song for an album? 🤔🤪🙃 to each is own but I completely disagree. I understand the album has some opportunities for improvement but it's top 5 for sure whether on album or live hehe. Glad you enjoyed more during the show tho
went to see them 2 times for the reimperatour and I was surprised on how good and powerful He Is sounded, it made me love that song even more, Respite was a big surprise and very emotional
Per Eriksson is the solo guitarist (White) and Chris Catalyst is the rhytm guitarist. (Black) Then they use Multighoul /Swiss Army Ghoul Justin Taylor as a third guitarist. Cos Sylvan plays bass and Hayden Scott drums. Then you have the lovely ladies Mad Gallica and Laura Scarborough on keyboard and Sophie Amelkin as background singer. Fantastic band 🤘. Great video 👍 My favorite live is Year Zero. Love the flames 😃

Amazing footage man! I saw them in Tampa a few weeks ago on this tour and it was incredible! The pyro was booming and the band sounded huge! I agree 100% on wanting to hear Griftwood. My favorite song they played was probably a tie between Miasma (that sax solo was insane) and Cirice (dueling guitars in the beginning slapped)
The dueling guitars blew me away this time! Ngl I was sort of getting tired of them and hoping they’d shorten them, but they really stepped it up at this show. The “banter” between the two of them was amazing and the Bruce song was hysterical…next time they gotta do Bon Jovi lol
I was at the Trenton show too, and I was very surprised to hear Ritual and I lost my mind but all together, amazing show!

Holy roller, hurt you, circle with me, Yellowjacket, oh whoops, that was almost their entire set 😂 went to the show FOR Spiritbox and mastodon, but Ghost WAS an incredible experience. Mastodon playing the Czar in its entirety was a bucket list item of mine!
The Czar was amazing! Circle with me has grown on me a lot of the last few weeks, maybe the others will too lol
It's great to hear some of their classics again. Great video, man. Btw, I believe those lasers are called scanners. There's haze (secular?) in the air, which makes them appear wider.

I saw them in Huntsville earlier into the tour, my favorite was Ritual. I don't know if they played it at your show, but it was insane.
Ritual is always a show stopper. Really love the live ending they do!
I saw this tour on 9-22-22 and despite the two openers that they had that bored me I will have to say that as my first ritual, it was definitely more than I expected it to be. Not only the fact that Tobias knows how to work a crowd, but the entire band knows how as well. The fact that during the guitar duel that featured Sweet Home Alabama and watching Sodo fall off the riser he was standing on made for some humorous moments. The most haunting part was Year Zero being played with the eerie feeling that it gave off with the organ intro and outro. The real highlight for my though was the end of the show when the confetti flew through the air with the Mary Goore currency mixed in with it that I was lucky enough to acquire. Now I am waiting until August so that I can catch them on what is suspected to be Papa's last tour with Amon Amarth in Nashville.
It's such an amazing show and you're right, every single one of them on stage knows how to perform! I'm hoping to be able to catch a show this summer but there's really only one day I can make it....and it's about 3 hours away lol. But worth the trip for Ghost and Amon Amarth, who I've been dying to see for years now!

I was there! I had the same reaction to Con Clavi Con Dio. I tried taking a cool video and you can hear me more than Tobias🤣. But yeah overall the Con Clavi Con Dio straight into Prime Mover part of the set had to be my favorite.
Lmao gotta love watching the concert footage after the fact (also why there's no Dance Macabre shots in this vlog). The back to back Opus section was the best part by far
It's okay I saw ghost in Tampa on the 6th and it was the best concert of my life aswell!
I was front row of the pit right by ather and it was literally such a personal feeling beautiful experience it's so far the onily concert that got me to cry lol

They did for a little bit but I think it was for only like half a tour or something. Apparently they threw Twenties into the set for those two la shows, that would’ve been awesome to see!

Parking was rediculous around this arena no organization whatsoever lol. But you are correct sir the concert set list from ghost was superb.. paying tribute to the boss also was cool.. lol ghost loves comming to nj.
We got out of that lot really quick, though it was definitely chaotic getting in. My friend said he found street parking a few blocks away...guess that's the move for next time. They gotta do Bon Jovi next time!
Griftwood is my fave and I heard them play it in Montreal.

I almost got tickets to the show in Ashville NC but I couldn't get the time off of work to go and it killed me emotionally lmao but I haven't really listened to Spiritbox. Though my family and friends have recommended them to me

Dude! If you’re from Jersey, come to Bury the Hatchet in Paramus. Throw some axes and we play a bunch of Ghost especially in October… I also have a Ghost themed axe. Just ask for Sebastian!!!

To my knowledge they play con clavi quite often. They did in 2019 throughout the tour. Usually followed PERFECTLY by Per Aspera. I honestly prefer it that way. It hits so hard. But it was cool to hear an Opus classic so I can’t complain. Seems like they have finally ditched absolution which I love bc that’s never been a song I cared for. Overall it was incredible in Tampa Florida.
Con Clavi into Per Aspera was amazing when they used to do it, maybe they'll bring it back someday....maybe lol. I loved how Absolution sounded live, so much better than the album version! But I get why they swapped it out, they ended up playing 6 songs off Impera by the end of the tour.

@@jebadiahfyefye8994 Same. Tbh they need to start doing what Coheed does with their neverender tours and play their albums from start to finish. I'd love to see them do a two set show with Meliora as the first set and Impera as the second set. Then throw in year zero Dance macabre and Square Hammer as the encore.

I think during their guitar duel before Cirice they play a song from a local artist. In Tampa they did Zombie Ritual by Death.

I was not able to catch Spiritbox and Mastodon because of the 3 hour drive to NJ after work, but I have seen them both before because of Coheed. Spiritbox was on the SS Neverender Cruise. I too wish there was Griftwood. How about those pyrotechnics, too? I could feel them from far away
Those pyrotechnics were the loudest part of the night. Even with earplugs in they were deafening. Also mad jealous you got to go in S.S. Neverender, it looked like Coheed played an amazing couple of sets on that ship!

That one song by Spiritbox is played on Octane on satellite radio. Only song i've heard from them and had basically the same reaction to them. Basically indifferent, not great, not bad, just kinda alright.

The keyboard player for the Don is Joao..he plays with Lennon claypool delirium and tours with the boys in the don. He ain't your average keyboard player

Saw them in Peoria last night. There was no dueling guitars which kinda sucked, but also i'm not sure if it was meant to be in the show or not, but before Ritual Papa was gonna talk a bit but instead the ghouls kinda just started the song without letting him speak.
Also, now that i've finished the video, they did play Griftwood at my show, it was a nice surprise.
Very jealous you got Griftwood AND a new starting pitcher for the White Sox, the Yankees could use an extra reliever or two! Maybe they had to make room for the extra song and cut out some stage banter, tho it's odd they'd start playing if he was going to talk

Ghost killed it. Definitely my favorite new band. Spritbox and Mastodon both sucked. I would have preferred seeing Volbeat opening this leg of the tour.
I liked Mastodon’s set but wasn’t huge on Spiritbox. Volbeat killed it back in February, much better live than in their albums!
People must have even worse memory than in the 70´s when they rather film everything than rock out. Great music, but lame audience.
