I think some ADJ LSFs on the end of each would make them even better. Impressive light throw, they were shinning strong onto the neighbors house. You can buy a two pack of ADJ's par38's and then buy two bulbs for somewhere around the $110 ball-park. That's cheaper than most of the LED options out there and you have the ability to change the bulbs at anytime plus you can put LSFs on them to really shape the light.
Does anyone know about how many feet one would light up? We are having a glow in the dark dodgeball tournament and are on a budget. Renting canon seems to be our best option until we saw this idea but don't want to buy anything without a ballpark of how many feet each would light up.

AH! I wish I would have seen this earlier! I'm doing a blacklight event tomorrow night! I'll definitely pick some up for my January event though!
Cool, I didn't even know these lights existed.
I think that looks really cool very nice.
Very impressive DIY+Recycling+ReThinking project for lighting. Thanks God for LEDs. Kudos, Brian!

Really cool affect. I think it would look cooler if somehow cthe was a way to make to par cans that you were using to into almost like a strobe.
I may add some Freq Strobes closer to Halloween. It could drive me nuts in my living room for the entire month :P
