There is nothing more heartwarming than a celebrity who appreciates his fans like how Christopher Lloyd loves people who love Back to the Future, and honor its legacy.
Back to the future is a untouchable franchise..never ever remake or reboot it..it's the most timeless perfect trilogy...I watch it every year and never gets old
It's all just a matter of rights ownership and cost. If a studio gets the opportunity to do it and they figure it would profit well (which it most certainly would), then it'll happen. A few crummy remakes/reboots/rehashes down the line and kids will think that is what Back to the Future is. The original Back to the Future will become just the overrated old one that looks dated and doesn't have all the cool CGI scenes that look like a video game. It'll be drenched in cold blue filter and all the characters will be depressed and haunted by ghosts of their past, and storytelling will be done with exposition dialogues, rather than the visual media and art that is film-making, before another round of all-over-the-place CGI action and a cheap ham-fisted twist near the end.
Christopher Lloyd has an incredibly long (and fantastic) film career. I realize he will usually be recognized first and foremost as Doc Brown. But for me, his portrayal of Klingon Commander Kruge (The Search for Spock) was one of my favorites. Honorable mention for being Judge Doom (Who Framed Roger Rabbit.) But just take a peak at his IMDb page. Good God, that man has made hundreds of films and TV episodes since 1975.
I know the year and the car is wrong, but when I saw this part i literally screamed, when i saw the blue arc light in the barn i thought it was going to be a cowboys vs aliens referance 🤣
Agree completely. The Back to the Future movies were definitely the best movies of the 80’s and Christopher Lloyd was great as “Doc”. Those are really the only movies I actually paid to go the theater and see in the 80’s. I am glad they ended the series after the three installments. I hope they never attempt to remake and destroy something that was perfect. Christopher Lloyd and Michael J Fox are always going to be the only Doc and Marty. I remember going to see these films like it was yesterday.
Christopher Lloyd could have been remembered for playing a car designer in Mr Mom or for playing a taxi driver in Taxi or even playing a evil Klingon in Star Trek Search for Spock But fate had it that he would be forever remembered as Doc Brown.
he actually hated Han, he wanted to kill off Han in the empire strikes back and originally didn't want to come back to do Return of the Jedi But Indiana Jones, Harrison favorite role is Indiana Jones
@@Kevin-tz2lv I read ya, but for the part with the train in the third film itself, I'll bet it sparked the enthusisasim of many Thomas fans all over the internet. Whaddya think?

Movie) Piranha DD Dennis the Menace The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai:Across the 3rd Demension Blood Lake:Attack of the Killer Lampreys Suburnan Commando Piranha
His work on Taxi was also supeb. Jim Caldwell (Ignatowski) was the best character on that show. I love the episode “going home” where Alex discovers Jim’s dad (played by Victor Buono” is a millionaire and goes with Jim to visit him.
I know the movie is it's own thing, but this scene alone (even though it's the best part of the movie) contradicts Back to the Future III. This movie takes place in 1882, but Doc Brown got sent back to 1885.
What if, at the end of the first movie, he goes back to 1882 because he "always loved the old Wild West", fixes up his delorean, goes to 2015, gets converted to Mr Fusion and hover, sees marty and his kids....... "Great Scott", Cue BTTF 2, "Marty, you gotta come back with me !, Where ?, Back to the Future". At the end of #2, during the storm, the display is glitching out with 1885, because it is CLOSE to where he had been previously. Got to remember, Hill Valley was in California, Old Stump was in Arizona, two time periods, two different locations. Arizona is one state east.
@@ChannelReuploads9451 That was my head-canon since the time machine was pre Mr. Fusion. The fact that the lighting sent him only a couple years past 1882 must have meant it was some temporal anomaly... or a really big coincidence.
Maybe he finally got the idea to mail Marty a letter after a couple years, and told Marty which year to pick him up in, not necessarily the one he arrived in, for whatever reason.
Wow! So there was somebody in this 6.1 IMDB rated mediocre film with some talent! 'It's clear what this movie needed more of. And what it needed less of.
Although Back to the Future is loaded with logical errors, to me it's a perfect movie. One of the best trilogies of all time and I hope they never make a sequel* or reboot it. * Unless EVERYONE from the original was on board and it was a worthy attempt.
Moreover Doc jumped to 1885 and he was in California (Hill Valley), while here we are in 1882 in Arizona... 3 big mistakes in a single cameo... not bad!
jedibri81 not sure why you would say that. That movie was never meant to get an oscar or anything, but it was a decent, funny and laid bac flick, with TONS of cameos. I enjoyed it very much.
Arlindo Melo it was too "modern" for my tastes for me to enjoy it as a western. I mean, they just decide to roll up a joint at one stage like it's the most natural thing in the world when it was a scarce rarity for anyone to have or use in that time. We get it Seth, you smoke weed, you don't need to have a "smoking weed" scene in absolutely every movie you are involved with.
Skankhunt42 well it wasn´t intended to be enjoyed as a western movie, only as a PARODY of one. I mean, come on, they had so MANY cameos on it, like Ryan Reynolds, Ewan McGregor and a few others. Not to mention throwing things like Django and Back to the Future into the mix. So yea, it had a few good "western" bits like horses, indians and outlaws, but the movie was intended as a joke, pure and simple. And it was quite enjoyable as that.
It's a terrible movie. End of story. Check rotten tomatoes. Check Family Guy where Seth himself throws shade at it and at Ted 2 for how crap they both were.
Skankhunt42 first you said that you were judging the movie by your taste. Now it´s Rotten Tomatoes that´s driving you. Ok, then. I don´t need a bloody site or anyone else´s opinion as to wether I like a movie or not. An argument could be made about box office, but I don´t really care. I´ve seen movies praised by everyone in which I could barely keep my eyes open. Others were deemed "box office poison", but ended up really enjoyable in my opinion.
@redrick8900 Have you ever heard of respect to one's work? A piece of art that should be left alone so generations could appreciate the legacy the creator left. You'd never understand with that dismissive simpleton attitude.
