Hi Sir, after charging you cna already use the scooter. But on charging it's a good practice to wait for the battery to cool down before charging. Thanks.

Sir, wala pako idea kung pila ang battery but kung sakto lang ang imong charging habits with regard to battery charging, life cycle is 8-10 years man daw...mao lang na kung maka abot...

Agree Sir Chad, but siguro design gyud ni siya as such for pang daily commute lang siguro. So far OK raman sa kani na specs.

Battery degradation has something to do with the wasy how the battery is being discharge and recharge. the shorter is the depth of discharge, the longer is the battery lifespan. So for example if the depth of dischrage is at 50% and then recharge the battery, the healthier the battery is. For the lithium ion batteries, the maximum depth of disharge recommended is 80%, meaning the battery capacity remaining will be at 20%, then recharge your battery. For me, I recharge them when the battery capacity reamining is between 40%-50%. Hopefully the battery will degrade by 8-10 years time. Hopefully.
For the price of the replacment, I have no idea as of now Sir...tnx.
When did you purchase your unit sir? Is it registered? I had mine last December 2022 and it's now March 2023 but the unit is still not registered. Hope you can share your experience on this. Tnx

Di naman Sir, base on data sheets for lithium batteires mag degrade lang siya kung parati mo siyang ma discharge to maximum pero pag maintain mo lang na di umabot below 80% DOD OK lang sana...

Magkano daw po replacement battery ng AE8? Kung aabot din ng 100k wala din matitipid versus ordinary scooter.
Same sa mga electric cars, the battery replacement cost will balance out the savings you got from using electricity but most of the time it will still cost you more using electric vehicle.
Usual price ng battery is 50% the price of the vehicle.
In the future sana bumaba na ang price ng batteries to the point that you can really save money against gasoline powered vehicles.
Example ung Horwin EK3 ang srp nito 269k, ang replacement battery 90k. If need ireplace ang battery, babayad ka ng 90k para gumana ulit, ubos ang pera mo. para kang bumili ng scooter.
No idea Sir kung magkano po. Depenede din kasin yung battery life cycle sa charging habit. Kung tama lang charging then hahaba ang buhay ng battery po.
@@RollyPetz Makes sense sir siguro sa mga ebikes, nasa alaga din ng battery. Any idea sir kung nasisira din ang battery with time(months na hindi ginagamit) and not just the number of cycle
@@rebirthresurrection6490 Sir as long as you know how to take care of your batteries then for sure hahaba ang buhay nito. Same sa mga phonea natin na li ion types, tamang alaga lang talaga. I've converted ebikes and so far no problems encountered on the batteries and the conversion in general.
@@RollyPetz Regardless kung tamang alaga sir, may lifespan pa din yan battery, irereplace pa din yan, and ang pinag uusapan kasi dyan kung totoong nakatipid ka ba sa pag gamit ng electric bike versus gasoline powered bike in the long run.
Sa mga Tesla cars at hybrid cars kc wala ka matitipid in the long run dahil sa cost ng battery replacement.
