What exactly is a “capstone” project and what should I expect from it?

Generally speaking a capstone project is a culminating project where you demonstrate your mastery in an area. For OT schools, it’s a 14 week experience where you dive into a niche and work in professional development, program development, improving an area of OT, or research. You write your own learning objectives (with approval from an academic advisor) and work to meet them over the 14 weeks!
This is currently only for doctorates in OT.
