    LUC is fabulously understated as a brand. High horology. Not owned by a Will Smith ghetto type you’ll find.

    I put a deposit down on this in May. I contacted the dealer in August and I was told this would not be released until Q4 2024. I'm seeing them on Chrono24 now. Do they do a staggered release? They are now appearing in other countries besides the US.

      No idea what's going on but I've heard a lot of collectors are unhappy. 4Q24 is ridiculous though. They should pay you interest on your deposit

    “A solid micro rotor movement”? Haha. Do you not investigate anything prior to making a video like this? The movement in this reference is legendary. And Michel Parmigiani was instrumental in its development ironically- since you compared to the Tonda.

    It's one of my favorite sports watches, but I like the LUC 1860 even more.

    I would personally pick the Alpine Eagle 8HF over this version. The 8HF's dial is just a bit more casual, this salmon dial is a bit sparkly for my taste.

      I have had both the 8hf and the XPs on me wrist and it’s not even close. The XPs is at a different level

      The funny thing is I wanted to like the 8HF… however, the titanium felt really light. Almost to the point of not being a solid feel. The wearability of the XPs is simply outstanding

    I wonder what's the build quality if compared to Parmigiana Tonda PF?

    • @watchesinsingapore
      @watchesinsingapore  9 месяцев назад +2

      PF maybe slightly better since they tend to use platinum bezels. Otherwise very similar. XPS has better movement for sure though.

      @@watchesinsingapore I would have thought the Tonda PF micro rotor is similar to XPS 🤔 maybe I am very wrong 😂

      @@rodericklao6509 I looked at the 2 side-by-side again earlier this week and the XPS is noticeably better

      @@watchesinsingapore I see, thank you ! I would love to see both watches side by side, saw both of them today but at different places 😔

      @@watchesinsingaporesorry, but do you mean better in quality , details, polishing or aesthetically speaking? Cuz I do love the XPS swan neck regulator
