PROBLEM WITH BIOS
REMOVE CMOS BATTERY IF IT VISIBLE
AND REMOVE LAPTOP BATTERY ALSO
DONT CONNECT POWER
PRESS AND HOLD POWER BUTTON FOR 30 SEC
THE POWER IN BORD WILL ZERO
AND JUST CONNECT POWER WITHOUT BATTERY CHECK
IF NOT HAPPEN TRY 4-5 TIMES
what's the bios issue?
Ans.The error indicates embedded controller has timed out waiting for the BIOS to return from system board initialization (end of POST). The blinks indicate system board failure on your PC. Try restoring the BIOS to default and check if it helps.

You must correctly format it with hp tool with latest bios.
1- plug charger
2- put pendrive
3- press and keep pressing power button + windows + B (for a long time, around 1minute)
4- keep looking at the power led and other LED at bottom left notebook
5- when it's enought ALL LIGHTS WILL TURNOFF
6- LET POWER BUTTON ONLY but keep holding windows + B
7- The notebook will appear off but it's ON
pendrive light will turnon and bios flash will start(screen will be off)
8- Wait around 1 to 3 minutes for the flash ( screen will be off)
9 release windows+b
9- turnoff via power button
10 - try turning on. it should work.

I been 12 hours then it worked.. its like 1 minute holding power button and windows+b
Btw this has nothing to do with HD , i use linux btw and it was wiped.
Try with power cable please. It's maybe required and its mentioned on official HP video
My usb has no light so how will i know when to stop?
I've followed the instructions but screen remains black even after holding win+B for more than 3 minute? Please help!!

Hi!, no he didn't change it, it's the same chip. He resolder it
Only one chip brother and just reinstall the bios program
