Also, it comes down to forming a habit. Doing something repeatedly for roughly 45ish days is what it takes to form a habit on average. Also, the reason I've started getting organized/cleaning is because it sets the tone for the rest of the day for me. It helps me stay productive and I finish what needs to be done, instead of procrastinating.
I would love to see a purse organisation video!!! :) Also for the people who are also living with a messy partner: My boyfriend and I set a timer every night before bed and do 5 minutes of cleaning or tidying together. He hates it, but he likes that it is only 5 minutes and that I don't get annoyed about his mess, since I know it will get cleaned up each night. He is also really proud of himself after and its hilarious and adorable LOL

My biggest problem is paper!!! Paying bills, what to keep, catalogs, mail, etc. No matter how much I try to fight it, there always are piles of paper on the computer desk and esp. the kitchen island where everything goes. I've done the Konmari method for clothes but the paper part eludes me. Thank you!

I'm so messy and unclean that it's a bit disgusting and I've stumbled across your channel and I'm so happy I have. I took inspiration from another one of your videos where you said to set a timer and clean as much as you can in that time. I put my timer on for 15 minutes at the end of your video and I managed to throw out and tidy away nearly a whole half of my floor. When I have an early morning ahead of me or I know I won't have as much time in the AM, I too sleep on top of my duvet with a blanket and not under all the sheets! I thought I was the only one 😅 it makes straightening up the bed so much easier! Great tips :)

Best organization tips / video ever! You are pretty and calm and enjoyable to watch and listen to and I found this to be exactly the right amount of info, not too much not too little. Please keep them coming, I was a messy teen , but had my son and changed my ways, now with an empty nest, hypothyroid induced low energy and I find I never had a system or routine to clean, I did it all the hard way, because I had a little person depending on me. Now I'm overwhelmed by clutter and have trouble throwing things away ( not Hoarders bad, but enough that it hurts to toss some really stupid stuff I never use or look at) I also am super ADHD so I start something and get distracted easily, so any tips on motivation to get yourself started, organization for people like myself that leaves everything out because as soon as it is out of sight it's out of mind so anything in drawers do not get used, are needlessly replaced all the time and are just plain forgotten ( at the same time I don't want to see EVERYTHING I own, I like a bit of zen too) AND I WOULD LOVE to hear how you find time to keep up with your housework AND your beauty routine, because I think a lot of American women at least are on point with one and let the other go.anyways excuse the whole life story, just crazy inspired to get my act together ( I'm a fashion designer so I have a big crowded sewing room and can never find what I need when I need it. for the makeup tip: have a makeup box. I bought a leather hatbox with a hinge from goodwill for about $2 and I keep all of my makeup in it. I love it because when I am finished with what I just used, I put it right back in the box. I can take the box with me into the bathroom or to my bedroom and everything always stays in one place. The box goes into the cabinet where it is hidden from view and keeps the surfaces free of clutter. You can also use a zip up makeup box with a strap that you would use for travel.

I don't know if you already have a video on this, but if not, could you make a tutorial on how you can get dressed/ready in the morning without making a huge mess? I always tend to make a ginormous mess of my room after getting ready, and then have to clean it every day when I get home.

frequently wash your clothes. or have sertain piles for sertain days. do this for the week ahead or probably two weeks ahead and you should be fine.

Thank you so much for making this video! I have always been in a bad habit of building up clutter, which stems from my Mother, so I've never really been taught these things and I don't want to be a messy person.
Lost In Wonderland I feel the same my mother had a full garage of untouched things and would fill baskets and baskets of clutter and I am terrified of that! At the same time I don't throw away a lot of things and I'm afraid I will end up like that ._.

for the makeup tip: have a makeup box. I bought a leather hatbox with a hinge from goodwill for about $2 and I keep all of my makeup in it. I love it because when I am finished with what I just used, I put it right back in the box. I can take the box with me into the bathroom or to my bedroom and everything always stays in one place. The box goes into the cabinet where it is hidden from view and keeps the surfaces free of clutter. You can also use a zip up makeup box with a strap that you would use for travel.

I don't know if you already have a video on this, but if not, could you make a tutorial on how you can get dressed/ready in the morning without making a huge mess? I always tend to make a ginormous mess of my room after getting ready, and then have to clean it every day when I get home.
