Rob is one of the nicest, kindest, most generous and compassionate celebrity I can think of. He's low profile, but he is a righteous guy.

@@styx8113 Great all around musician too. I play in a band with his father and one night when we were practicing he sat in to play drums, we did Master of puppets, he blew me away.
In my experience the more hardcore looking people are really old softies if you show them respect and treat them like human beings, because they don’t expect that. They don’t expect someone looking like you to show respect for someone who looks like them. But damn it, Rob, do you have to wear such tight, hipster jeans? You’re a 90s guy! You’re cooler than that!

This was the best performance on the award show. Performance wise and sound quality wise. The crowd went crazy too. Seemed like the crowed didn't really care for the other performers.

Dezi Olivas I was there. (I’m the one Rob’s hand grabs a hold of, twice.) it was an excellent performance, but I have to disagree in regard of the crowd’s reaction. I was in my mid-40s when this performance occurred, and Rob Zombie is more “my generation”. Not saying he’s not appreciated by the newer generation, but I got the impression that a lot of people didn’t even know who he was as most of the people I was surrounded by were at least 20-25 years younger than me. When he said, “Wake the f**k up, mother f**kers!”, I kind of felt he was referring to them. There are many “crowd shots” that reveal most people didn’t seem to be into the performance. Well, that is my perception at least. Again, I agree with you regarding the awesomeness of the performance! I only wished more people appreciated it.

I love both of them did amazing. I grew up listening to Rob Zombie and I still to this day love his music. I am 16 years old I just find it funny how most of my friends like heavy medal and rock etc. Then I ask if they know who Rob Zombie is and my teacher raises his hand because he's the only one who knows who he is 😂😂😂🤘🤘🤘🤘
Naomi chism it's funny, I barely grew up with anybody in school listening to metal or rock for that matter (south Georgia). I was listening to music one day and my headphones came unplugged and Dragula was playing. one of the preppy kids asked what the fuck I was listening to and my teacher replied with "he's listening to a fucking legend"

Well I'll speak for them lol I'm a teenager who was into motionless in white way before I was into rob zombie. And I got into him later, so actually bands like motionless are getting younger kids to appreciate the elders.

He gave Rob a good intro, let Rob have the center stage, didn't sing over the top of Rob's lines; plus he had Rob sing 90% of the song with the MIW band. I'm a huge WZ fan, but Rob looks far more frail than his WZ days. The MIW probably would have done a better job with his younger and stronger voice!!!!!!
He didn't seem too frail leaping off/back on a 6ft high stage and jumping around the whole song,didn't look frail to me either. As far as looking different from his WZ days, you do realize that was TWO DECADES ago,right? Nobody looks the same after 20 years, I don't know about you but I know I look a lot different than I did '97......To be fair, I was in kindergarten at the time..

For anyone wondering why the crowd was boring it is because the equipment used to record the show focused on the singing and if the crowd could be heard you wouldn’t be able to hear them sing.

I thought this would be amazing, but it just left me feeling a bit sad for Rob... I mean, this is one of the best White Zombie songs, Rob did his best, but the crowd were just not impressed.

Rob sounded really rough, I actually winced in the beginning. No idea why, but at first I was like, oof, Rob, are ya tired hun? lol The mans a godsend to rock and metal but it sounds like he didn’t get a chance to warm up properly.
