I was in my mid-40s when this performance occurred, and Rob Zombie is more “my generation”. Not saying he’s not appreciated by the newer generation, but I got the impression that a lot of people didn’t even know who he was as most of the people I was surrounded by were at least 20-25 years younger than me. When he said, “Wake the f**k up, mother f**kers!”, I kind of felt he was referring to them. There are many “crowd shots” that reveal most people didn’t seem to be into the performance. Well, that is my perception at least. Again, I agree with you regarding the awesomeness of the performance! I only wished more people appreciated it.
