ah wonderful stuff to hear Mike the Master! :-) all of those sessions Mike did i think must of made the albums sound at least 50% better just a magical sound and feel he puts across to the listener...
Oh god no!!! None of the big session guys did heavy drugs because they wouldn't be able to play on a daily basis. Mike is just a very soft, low key person and has always talked like this :)
@@Scratch_Monsters_Golf haha well a lot of the old session guys did cocaine and there are some crazy sessions where many of them were floating high in the sky haha I've never done a single drug in my life but I've been around all these guys since the 80's and heard first hand about their use or non use of drugs.
Superb interview ! Thank you !
Awesome! Thank you Tommy! Love it!!
Amazing!! I've been two times backstage with Mike. We drunk beer and talked about the gear. He is my Tone-King!

Mike was on Dara Sedakas album I,m your girlfriend and Laura Branigans first album !
What was in the end that technique/slap he used that you asked him about?
Did Landau ever have a drug habit? Because he definitely sounds completely out of it here. Cool to hear him discuss some sessions, though.
