Checking in from Virginia, USA. Enjoying this replay on Wednesday. The best thing I see here is the cross-generational enthusiasm. It is inspiring to see many younger players enjoying this music with the older generation. Yes, music is universal and the internet enables us to enjoy great artists, students, and teachers from many cultures and countries. I am not aware of any public pianos in my part of the country. And Terry is lucky to have his elder "business manager" put in a good promotion. I have enjoyed Terry's church quest and the variety of organs. Then he introduces his pub quest. English pubs seem to be more of a relaxing and socializing place as opposed to American bars (which I don't patronize). Thanks for uploading this event to share with the world. Ah--I can't remark without remembering Olivier whom you and Dr K influenced. He has grown so much and has a bright musical future ahead of him.
Terry, have you ever played at the Osberton Hall summer house? It's near Nottinghamshire. I just found that my great grandfather owned it in the mid-1550s!
