It's sad that these heroes had to sacrifice in the first place. If the reactor was built properly and the chief executed the test properly, for all we know the reactor could still be operating today. May these heroes never be forgotten.
(Edit: Thanks for all the likes.)
The only consolation is that we learned from it...

Wrong. Im pretty sure those guys working there had no intention To save soviet union. They wanted To save innocent People and humankind in general. Fuck politics and governments, this heroic act was not done by soviets but by humans
Not just the motherland. They did for the sake of all of Europe

The sad reality is that you have fashion models that get paid up to $35000 a day and then you have people that actually make a difference. They get the least amount of money, credit, and get pretty much nothing in return. So, so so wrong and sad

"Don't let them suffer" but for some reason the same decency could not be extended to human beings.

part of the journey is the end , that's the heroes gig
My heart keeps hurting. So much suffering, unjust, undeserved, unnecessary. And what have we learned? We must become braver. Face the truth. Tell the truth. Every day, even in the little things. That's the only way we can - no, we MUST - honor these heroes. Every one of us.

This is so beautiful, it fits even better to Chernobyl than to Endgame.
This video is well done, but I do think it’s hilariously ironic given that the show was fundamentally critical of the Soviet Union and how the poor decision making led to the needless sacrificing of so many lives. Sure the men involved in the cleanup were immeasurably brave and their sacrifice should be commemorated. But using clips from the miniseries still seems ironic given the tone and message of the series. “What is the cost of lies?”
We need to be eternal grateful about these heroes, that sacrificed their lives to save ours
in the beginning, I thought the villain was dyatlov, then it was clear that the real villain was the soviet union state itself.
off to the gulag with you
Классное видео.
Классный сериал. Какие прекрасные мужские образы. Музыка, подбор кадров.. Впечатляет.
You’ll do it because it must be done. You’ll do it because nobody else can. And if you don’t, millions will die. If you tell me that’s not enough, I won’t believe you. *This is what has always set our people apart. A thousand years of sacrifice in our veins. And every generation must know its own suffering.* I spit on the people who did this, and I curse the price I have to pay. But I’m making my peace with it, and now you make yours. And go into that water. Because it must be done.
- Boris Shcherbina
The soldiers, the liquidators, the scientists, the minors, the 3 divers, even the firefighters, did more for the people than their government had ever done in the history of the Soviet Union.

Black Raven song (translated)
Raven black, why are you wheeling,
Why're you wheeling over me?
Ever will your prey elude you.
Raven black, I am not yours!
And what are you doing, spreading
Your wings wide over my head?
Or do you sense prey beneath you
Raven black, I am not yours!
Fly you now, off to my homeland,
And say to my mother dear,
Say to her, my darling mother,
That for Fatherland I fell.
Take my shawl, now stained with red blood,
To my darling, dearly loved.
Say to her that she is free now:
To another I am wed.
A smoldering arrow bound her to me,
Upon the fated battlefield.
Death, I see, is coming for me
Raven black, I'm now all yours!
I'm now all yours!
Вау я пустил слезу, очень трогательно.
I swear the music is the same from the funeral at endgame

Eventhough the leadership of the USSR never lived by the alturistic and philanthropic values they preached, the men and women, who took part in cleaning up Chernobyl, lived up to the values. Its a shame that many of never received the help they deserved. They are heroes and they deserve our eternal gratitude.

I like your choice of music from Avengers Endgame, especially the name of the music track “The Real Hero”.
Such an ironic the name of the music track is "the real hero" which came from fiction universe such avengers. These right here are the real heroes, the real men and women, real flesh and blood, who had nothing but the will to act.
