    I'm still new here and didn't know you're a chef. I love that you're wanting to pursue this type of art full time (vs. food art!), and I hope that happens for you. And your videos are so calming that it's easier to learn from them because there's time to absorb what you have to say about what we're seeing.

    So beautiful Heather, thank you. Not so sure I will find a result like that so easily even if this is an easy beginner technique! I have already started a transition from my starter, cheaper paints to quality brands as espoused by my favourite artists as I suspect they help not 'just' with beautiful pigments but the effects and techniques as well.

    I have just recently subscribed, and love your balloon rolls, but I must admit I don't get how you actually are able to create the look. I wish you could explain the pressure you use on the painting and things like that to help teach it. I know I must not be alone in trying to better understand it, in order to get the look. This painting is beautiful.

    • @HeatherMaderArt
      @HeatherMaderArt  5 лет назад

      There isn't much to say honestly.... The pressure of the roll... It would depend on your paint thickness and what look u are going for. It's honestly something that u will have to practice. I've done like 16-20 videos using them.

    • @HeatherMaderArt

    • @sanctuarynaturals
      @sanctuarynaturals 5 лет назад

      Mathyou - I believe that what she meant was, without LAYERING in a cup - these are just straight puddles of individual color, without layering in a cup. Considering the fact that you have your own channel, I would think that from one artist to another, you might show a little more kindness and mature respect. You're the type that sees the glass half-empty and who finds the ONE negative aspect in an otherwise perfectly nice video, with beautiful results and a gentle, calming voice for good measure. I would never watch your channel because you don't have the good manners to keep picky, childish, rude comments to yourself. Have a nice day.
