As someone who's been inside their lincoln office, you got the building exterior pretty spot on with the 3D model. A lot of people wouldn't even know the office exists due to there being no signs or logos on the outside

@Moth11 I delivered to them, their address was just under "Rockstar Lincoln" instead of "Rockstar Games" so I had no idea it was actually Rockstar games until security buzzed me in and I saw the big RDR2 mural on the wall. This was before the leak and security was still insanely strict, I wasn't even allowed to take a photo of the mural. Delivered there 3 times and haven't managed to get security to spill any details yet 😅

I can’t be the only person who loves that they’re always quiet. I feel like seeing screenshots and gameplay so early for a game of this magnitude would ruin the surprise. Although they always show gameplay and screenshots, it’s always near the release and it’s always a huge surprise to see. I remember the GTA V gameplay reveal and it was insane!

Most of the writing for GTA VI is being done in their London studio as well, as Rupert Humphries operates from there along with a new writer they hired in 2021 called Roger Drew, and possibly Luke Turton. Sam Houser on the other hand, is always on vacation and rarely in the studio these days, and only operates when important business start to happen, such as marketing and other things (he still has a lot of influence on GTAVI). Living the dream, while Aaron Garbut and Rob Nelson fully manage the project.

I’m an actor and i believe rockstars NDA are more strict then marvel, big production tv/film and commercials make me sign an NDA but there not as strict, for example I recently did a Netflix episode for a new show and we still able to record/ take pics a bit behind the scenes we just couldn’t film the actual scenes we were shooting, but when I did a commercial for Fortnite they were not playing with us when it came to taking our phones out, I guess video game companies are just a lot more strict with there NDA’s
What's it like to do a commercial for such a big game like Fornite? How's it different from let's say that Netflix episode show you've did? Was it your first time do be engaged with a video game or?
@@uros2909 well i was just the stunt double to the star of the Fortnite commercial, won’t say who because of nda but it’s like any other commercial except that there very strict with phones, not sure if they checked my social media but some productions will check to see if you took any pics or photos while on set, other commercials in most cases or the Netflix show lets you record behind the scenes as long as your not recording when there actually shooting the scenes
imagine how a game company known for romantizing anti-authoritarian and outlaws being as strict as Nintendo...
Well they didn‘t raid a kid for sharing fan art online yet so Nintendo is still a little more extreme in my book.

Rockstar is brilliant, they have made several of my favorite games of all time. The fact they operate under secrecy only creates more anticipation and speculation. I’m looking forward to GTA VI but I’m really hoping they are actively working on another installment of red dead redemption.

Rockstar does this for marketing, the same way Disney does it too. Whenever a new Pixar or Disney movie comes out the general public dosent know who wrote it or directed it. This keeps brand integrity when people leave the studio so that people arent following the artists but the rather the company itself. I don't think they hide themselves for the same chivalrous reasons you think they do.

look, I love GTA. Its not my favorite series, but I'll sink a hundred or more hours into each one's story/singleplayer mode. But I have to admit that the "fanbase" of this game is at the point of Mania, the game is already a lock for the highest grossing game of all time, and they still clutch their pearls and act like they're protecting state secrets all in the name of driving up hype for something that's already maxed out, because it might make an extra $30...

It's kind of... extremely pathetic how much work they want to do under some KGB/CIA style secrecy. They're making fucking video games, not military secrets, you don't hear these insane leaks from other companies or even just people actively wanting to find leaks, because other companies talk to their community.
Before GTA V it didn't matter because they released games each years through multiple projets and they were ALL hits, so we didn't have to wait and/or want to find what was coming, the games would be insane anyway, but now Rockstar is disconnected with how things work in the 2020s.
You cannot drop a game, milk it for 10 years with obvious intents at pushing micro-transactions super hard and say absolutely nothing, complete radio silence on what you're up to next. Just a simple ''yes we're working on the next GTA'' that would have been posted in 2018 or 2020 would have been enough for the community to calm down on trying to do crimes to find wtf is Rockstar doing.
