@@elchupagoats956 I don't load for anything at the moment, I keep buying bulk 556 and 9mm from online stores. already at a few thousand rounds for each already. I know I can't fire 6mm like that due to pricing so I would really wanna start investing in it and learn everything I can.
I really like alpha munitions brass, don’t have any yet in 6 arc, but 6.5 creed and 308 brass has been great! Looks like you got a good bear creek barrel there!
@@elchupagoats956 I only have 6mm right now. No 22arc barrel yet. My new barreled action is at short action customs right now for a 6mm alpha dasher. Anyway the 6arc alpha brass is incredible I run a gas gun w xcaliber barrel SAC modular dies. Getting very good group sizes w very very few fliers.on the first firing you will get a ejector stamp it's a known non issue. I thought it was a pressure sign. Didn't have it on the next firings. Crazy consistency and easy to size.
Very nice. Your bca upper is much better than mine. I have the 20 inch and your 18 inch gets better velocities than mine does. Next bullet of choice I would say a good inbetween bullet would be 70-75 grain bullet. Different brand choice, Id say try out the barnes 72g varminator. You got powders that will work for it I believe.
I buy factory ammo to shoot out of my rifle just to get the brass. Hey man, quick question do you think the 60gr Sierra tmk would stabilize in a 1-12 twist 22-250?
@@elchupagoats956 Sierra says you need a 1in10 twist. At the elevation I'm at, it might just work. Aren't you in Texas? I wouldn't count on it working near sea level.
yea that’s not good, do you remember what the size of the pice of brass was out of the bolt action? An ar15 should always have more head space built in typically.
@ the only reason I say this is bc the only time I’ve ever seen a case split like that is when the chamber is out of spec and I’ve shot a lot and put together a good many rifles and reloaded for a lot.
The more arc videos I watch, the tighter i cling to my 1:7 20" 556
And you should.
Lol
I really like them both
@ShotintheDark-lk1ps I have a Marlin x7vh in 223. I love that rifle shoots lights out. How is that 62gr eld vt working
Gotta love bolt action feeding issues. My arc took some serious mag adjustments to become decent.
My Ar was feeding fine. The savage was having problems that day
would you consider teaching us how to do handloads?
I have a short of my process, but yeah, it would be fun to do.
@@elchupagoats956 id appreciate that, ive been used to 556 my entire career, I wanna branch off into the 6mm for my own pleasure.
@@quickdraw1921 but do you load for 556

Yes I do
Another good video thank you yes please test your 6.5 Grendle

Yes they do. I have 2 hundred pcs of their 6mm arc, they have 22 arc as well. Now trying to find some in stock right now that's another story.

@elchupagoats956 or 70g noslers, or something along them lines.

@elchupagoats956 thatd be about right. In between what you have tested already.
I just need to order more brass
Thought of buying each of these rifles. Thanks

I'm interested in the difference between the 16" RAR bolt action and the BCA 18" AR
Might be able to get one

Hornady brass

Yes sir

Measure a fired pice of brass see how long that chamber is make sure it’s in spec. Might not be the brass…
