Schrade Bedrock Series Axe Overview: A Side-By-Side Comparison and First Impression

Schrade has a full knife lineup...from folders to fixed blades...edc to camp worthy blades. But today we look at some of their camp axes with the Bedrock lineup. As I was reviewing the Bedrock series, I realized it was hard to determine exactly how big these axes were, and especially one against another, so today we set out to answer some of those questions. This video provides a side-by-side comparison of the Bedrock, Bedrock axe, and Bedrock camp axe. Future videos will demonstrate these in a practical field review.

I bought the camp axe version some years when it was called the SCAXE10.
It’s a great little hatchet (imho).
I’ve used it for many camp chores, and it’s holding its own very nicely.

Good Part 1. Good point about that hanging hole that can't be used with the cover on.
I think for Solo backpacking the smallest one would be fine. The biggest one can be stored at the Cabin.
