what i love about those old iron horse sound guard tractors is ppl just keep tearing them down rebuilding them and keeping them going. they are timeless machines and as practical to use today as ever. 43 years later and you can still do with it what you would do with a brand new deere but possibly more reliable and economical.
i feel your pain. just did mine last fall. it was a over 10,000 in parts. it was still cheaper than a new tractor payment. it should last another 9900 hours.i was told on pto not to pull lever all the way back at once, hold till pto stops then pull the rest of the way, stopping it fast is what wears out pto clutch. ask Larry if he agrees with that advice. great video.
