    Aren't they too loose? It would be great to see them on a real leg, not just flat.

    I have some over-the-knee socks & leg warmers (purchased from Torrid) that are so wide they fall down. My solution was to unthread the elastic straps from a cheap pair of those black styrofoam hardware knee-pads. They have good velcro already attached & can hide underneath a cuff you fold down (I just stick them to themselves, not your yarn, in a ring at the knee). Ta-da...they can be infinitely adjusted & interchangable between different things since they don't get attached! ❤❤ I told my hubby IOU his kneepads to be replaced lol. So just make sure a cuff or ribbing looks good on the inside & you can fold it over.

    I purchased one of these machines from TEMU and I tried to use it, but for the life of me, I couldn't figure it out. Maybe I'll just have to take my time with it and give it another try. I like the way you show how to use it. Maybe now I'll know what to do. Thanks for sharing this video.

    I’m new to your channel. I have one of the same machine. It will drop stitches . I was told to mount it to a table helps stop the dropped stitches. I have not tried it yet. But instead, I chose to buy the electric turner from Amazon.❤

    Perhaps it would be better to explain that this presentation is reversed - Right to Left. It would be easier for a beginner to understand in which direction you need go casting on. I previously learned on a PRYM but found that the double pronged form on top on the yarn holder on the Sentro and the Addi machine needles are easier to manipulate when removing the yarn at the end. My new Sentro is due to arrive tomorrow and the first project will be these Legwarmers. Thanks for this simple instruction.

      That is a great idea, thank you. I didn't even think about that. From now on, I will add that. Thank you again 😊 Good luck. It's addicting.

    For people who want the leg warmers to be SMALLER around the calf:
    Grab a 5mm crochet hook:
    1st Rnd: 1sc in every stitch (48), slst
    For a slightly tighter fit: dec in every other st
    For a much tighter fit: dec every three st
    Fasten off.

    Pas mal mais les mailles sont assez grosses, je pense qu'il faut de la grosse laine pour un tel appareil sinon le tricot doit être dejauge, non? Merci pour la vidéo 😘

    Just made them on my Addi 46.
    I am plus size and 180 cm tall. They are too wide and come from foot to knee.

      It is her row counter. I purchased a similar one for my 40 pin on Amazon because it didn’t come with one.

    What is the waste yarn for?

    • @GentlethemJoey
      @GentlethemJoey 10 месяцев назад +1

      The cast on leaves an unfinished edge that unravels easily, so a few rows of waste yarn makes it less likely that it will come unraveled. Also, the tension can be too loose the first couple of rows, so the waste yarn helps get those rows out of the way before you’re actual project begins.
