Oh my! I’ve been in some snow but that mess is SERIOUS snow!!! I spent time in eastern Iowa and in the northeast, but your snow seems to be more intense! Man!!!
Define typical, we get blizzards all the time, depends on the system, in '97 '98 we had a blizzard every weekend, flooding in the spring ensued. You can RUclips fargo flood 97
Honestly you get used to it. I’m from Evanston, IL but I’ve been in Fargo for just about 10 years. The last two winters have been pretty bad but otherwise it’s not too terrible. We have a low crime rate, many jobs and it’s fairly inexpensive to live. That’s why I’ve stayed but I’m ready to move though. I need adventure lol
@@dejaunajackson7666 Fargo seems like it would be a cool place, since you've got North Dakota State, and I'm sure other things as well. I bet Christmas was fun over there. I'm in Alabama.... originally from Michigan. We've had some freezing temps. But more than that, we have more rain lol
Aaron how do the locals there manage to go about their daily lives? I can't imagine the difficulties with getting to/from work, delivering parcels/mail, emergency services (ambulance, fire, law enforcement etc). Looks like it should all be drawn to a complete stand-still. :(
You know when to stay home and when to go out and if u have to go out u drive slowly with your hazards flashing a place that usually takes you 5 mins to get to could take 10 0r 20 and u should have sand bags and a shovel and a winter survival kit always with you and sometimes you can’t even stop on time if it is slippery even if they sanded the streets and.you never wanna slam on your brakes to stop when it’s icy because u will slide you just pump them got anything else you want to ask
I live in Johannesburg, South Africa where it has only snowed 22 times in the last 103 years and NEVER like this, and no, we never have a break from our criminals at all.... The last time it snowed was in 2007.

Get yourself some winter tires. You'll thank yourself. Expensive, yes but well worth it. Remove them as soon as temps stay above 50. Should get about 4 seasons out of them.
Zues Toots we’re definitely looking into getting winter tires. Good thing we have a 4x4 pickup truck, otherwise we would have gotten stuck in snow for how many times I would not know.
Tina M We came from Bloomington Indiana. The weather there had been really mild (50s mostly) so I was really shocked when we got here. Like who moves to Fargo in winter?😬😊
Lived in South Dakota for 6 years. It amazes me fucking stupid drivers up there are. "I DONT NEED NO SNOW TIRES", i truck through areas your stuck in with a winter tired equipped RWD 4door car. TIRES, TIRES, TIRES!! Its only thing in contact with the road.
Up to 2 feet of snow and 50 miles an hour winds the fucking hell it wasn't a blizzard. One of the worst storms to hit in the past several years and you damn well know I've been around the state as long as you have!
Grandma said when their family settled Crosby, ND., her dad drove them to school in winter with a horse and buckboard. They had a sod house, too, at first, and no one coming to plow them out back then. Lol
@@lauriesorenson3172 That's incredible. My dad went to school on horse. More for fun than necessity. My Grandparents did the horse and sleigh and blankets with the heated stone under the bench when they were kids. We drove thru Fargo on the way back to Manitoba 3 days after the storm. We have 2 inches in Canada with grass showing.
This reminds me of all of the winters that I experienced when I lived in Moorhead from 1977 to 1982.
Growing up in ND and seeing this makes me really love the 74 deg day in Houston. Stay safe
@US ARMY VET 11B 96-14 luckily we dont live in a crime infested area and dont flood. I was simply saying I dont miss the snow and cold.

sounds like a good weekend for sure!
Definitely DONT miss that! I just moved down south this summer!!
Hunny ur beautiful move back
Thank you for the video🙂
you are welcome!
Do people ride 4 wheelers up their in the winter time ? Or no is it to cold ?
sometimes on the frozen lakes.
I got stuck in Fargo because of the same blizzard years back. Running and aircraft engine outside. Drove my car in to a ditch. Bad
Yikes. glad you came out alright!
I live in Brooksville Florida now but maybe you could travel to NY Mills on hwy 10 say hi to my brothers ,thanks and stay warm.
Yes in Minnesota.

Normal Fargo in winter. Lol it's -10 degrees right now. We won't be losing much snow any time soon.
Gotta love Fargo
How do people survive this on the reservation??????
Many don't have jobs to go to, they just stay home warm and snug.
They just booze it up, smoke a lot of cigarettes and huff a lot of gold spray paint and then go out and steal things...
Lucky for us it was a warm day with only a mild wind! Add 25 below zero and 50 mph winds to that snow and it can get a bit nasty.
Liar nd is for sissys
You’re near my house !!! That storm was terrible.
That looks like something else. I don't know how you, and everyone up there, deals with the snow, and freezing temps

My wife is a nurse here in Fargo and she has to be there no matter what. It can be a pain in the ass sometimes but we manage. 👍
We are so close but have not seen anything like this in a long time.
That blue light tree and restaurant was beautiful.
It was actually a bank!
