  • This is the HobbyKing OrangeRx V2 Stabilization unit on my Pusher Delta. This delta wing is a great park flyer but definitely gets pushed around by the wind. This stabilization unit works great for windy conditions!

Please see my other videos for information about setting up this stabilizer on a delta wing and for information about this wing and how to build it.

Thanks Ed! I really appreciate your support and all of your awesome videos. I think that I may take the plunge and build an Armin Wing...

It would be great for FPV or aerial video. I am going to make an aerial video soon comparing with and without the stabilizer.

Dont forget to glue the stabilizer properly, if its loose and vibrates, it will read as the planes is vibrating aswell and will try to correct movements that the plane might not be doing...

Pedro Cruz. The click lock velcro also worked for me. I also was able to apply it both on the bottom and one side. Used the strong 16 lb type.

You have that mounted backwards. Antenna wires go towards the front.
Are you running the ailerons on a "Y" or both off the RX? If the latter, how did you get them to reverse?

I have my 1st Blunt Nose Versa about done. I also have the Orange RX3S stabilizer but the one with the built in 2.4GHz receiver. I'm trying to figure out how to turn it on and off from my DX5I radio... Any Ideas? Also how sensitive did you end up setting your pots in the Orange unit as per stabilizing the Wing? My Orange RX3S unit even at the widest part of the inside of the Versa Wing, has the wires coming out of the Orange unit right up against the top of the inside of the plane...Any help would be great! Would like to know how you did yours. My E-mail is good on qrz.com Pics of the inside of your plane would be cool!

+John Dwyer You need to set the aux ctrl dip switch and connect the gear / aux 1 channel to the Rx3s
