Thanks!! I appreciate ya. I am ex- u-control "board builder", then gas r/c, that is now getting around to electric. What grabbed my attention is the Delta wings to fly in a park. I am glad I found ya online and I am sending in my order to hobby king today. Thanks for your assistance, my grandson and I will be back often,,, Like Like Like
When you do your next review, you might like to comment on the left and right aileron OUTPUTs that drive dual ailerons the SAME way, i.e. both up or both down. This forces you to use a Y connector to both aileron servos fed off EITHER the Left Aileron or the Right Aileron ouput connection.
I don't know if it's been said in earlier comments but the battery connection on these things and on receivers is NOT! for your main power battery, it's for a receiver battery.
hello, Don't know if you still monitor this video thread. My question is, although I finally got my V2 version working, the LED light stays on instean od blinking. I noticed on all I see on you tube it blinks intermittently. Should I be concerned? thanks
Great video, tnx! I´m planning to stall on my DC-3 but i have a quick question please...like warbirds, DC-3 has tail wheel and the normal/taxi (gear down) stance with nose high (considerable angle)...how do i need to stall this gyro? Can i maintain the airplane on normal stance (again, gear down) or should i retract the gears and configurate on "normal flight stance" ? Tnx and please keep posting
Hi. I have one of these and my question is: Is there any requirement to be used on any plane? I mostly flight and love warbirds so, what´s your suggestion? I consider myself an intermediate pilot. Thank you in advanced!
Thanks! Very helpful! I want to get this and add it to my super cub. I added ailerons and I decided I wanted flaps as well as all new electronics and brushless motor. I only have the dx5e so is there any way I can connect both the flaps and gyro on/off to the 5th channel? So when the flaps go on the gyro goes off? Thanks
There is a work around for flaps and flaperons in the description under this video. "Best answer for using this with 2 aileron servos with mixed in flaps/spoilers is to buy 2 TURNIGY V-Tail Mixer's..."
I know it has been a while since you posted this but I have one of the V2's on the way and wondering if you had any thoughts on the Open Flight Stabilizer firmware out there through RCGroups "noobee" . Maybe this is more than I need concern myself with at this early stage of my flight schooling (self taught, I should add). Your videos are exceedingly clear and to the point, very nicely done sir.
I HAVE 3 OF THESE, V2 AND WORKS GREAT OFF/ON VIA AUX FOR THE FIRST ONE NEXT 2 SAME V2 AS THE FIRST, CAN NOT TURN OFF THEY WORK WITHOUT THE TRANS BEING ON!!! ANY IDEAS? THANKS LARRY
Sounds like two of them are faulty from what you are saying. Is the RX3S getting power from somewhere other than the TX because it should not have power if the TX is off.
I have my 1st Blunt Nose Versa about done. I also have the Orange RX3S stabilizer but the one with the built in 2.4GHz receiver. I'm trying to figure out how to turn it on and off from my DX5I radio... Any Ideas? Also how sensitive did you end up setting your pots in the Orange unit as per stabilizing the Wing? My Orange RX3S unit even at the widest part of the inside of the Versa Wing, has the wires coming out of the Orange unit right up against the top of the inside of the plane...Any help would be great! Would like to know how you did yours. My E-mail is good on qrz.com Pics of the inside of your plane would be cool! 73 Jimmy, ARRL TS, WX9DX
Very good the video friend! I have a difficulty to use it in analog servos, because you can get in touch with analog servos can burn the servos, I saw that there is a different firmware to use in analog servos and use sbus as well, because the analog servos Uses a lower frequency than the digital ones, if you know something and want to help me, I'm grateful!
Thanks, looking to set up gyro stabilized Flaperons for my 800mm F4U Corsair using Ian Jeffery's set up of a AR610, the RX3S and a Turnigy V-tail mixer as a bypass

+José Alberto Varona Sánchez You can use it on any plane even delta wings and V-tails.
No auto leveling on it though.

I have the same product. I am trying to setup flaperon and wondering if I could set it up using the ALE-L and ALE-R? or do I have to use ALE and AUX?

OK thank you for the attention
Hello will the rx3s cause my ar610 receiver to fail ?
Not that I know of.
Thanks, looking to set up gyro stabilized Flaperons for my 800mm F4U Corsair using Ian Jeffery's set up of a AR610, the RX3S and a Turnigy V-tail mixer as a bypass
I may end up paying $10 more and getting a KK2 Board.
That way I would also get auto level.
Thank you.
Futaba compatible?
You can use whatever receiver you want with V2.
V3 has the receiver built-in but not this one.
