Amen on Donovan Edwards staying healthy. This final season of his is his year. What loyalty to stay with Michigan playing behind an All American RB in Blake. Blake and Donovan together was up there with USC’s Lendale White and Reggie Bush combo in my humble opinion. Michigan fans are elated with Tony Alford joining the staff and hope he can bring new insights to the game as well as improve recruiting.

So cryin ryan creates a soft culture and doesn't care 2 shits for the offensive line, and it's because Alford is a bad coach? Ok Skippy...

Says a lot that Coach Alford says positive things about Michigan’s rival down South and his former employer. Respect.

So u are saying if Ohio State pays better he would have stayed. If u looked at both coaching staff. Ohio state pays better or more on most positions. Since Alford left it's been the same answers. Some pros and cons to both coaching at Michigan and Ohio state@@JohnnyFarcry

I will never understand why Michigan hired him. He was terrible at Ohio State. Awful at recruiting. A bad coach. Day cut his pay and would only give him a one-year contract. All the other coaches got raises and 3 year contracts

He was handcuffed by Ryan Day. Probably because he’s black

9 years with Ohio state, no one would keep their job that long if they were a terrible. Sorry you have no idea what your talking about.

Agreed. He was more of a holdover from the Meyer era and I think Day stuck with him for continuity sake. His recruiting hasn't been good the last few cycles and with Day not offering him an extension I think he saw the writing on the wall. Him joining Michigan was just his way to stick it to OSU I'm guessing.

@franklinhicks639 Would that change anything? It doesn't change the fact that Alford only had one year left on his contract and he chose to walk when OSU isn't exactly hurting for money either. Why didn't he already have an extension if OSU wasn't content letting him go? I'm just saying.
