I find it's funny these Ohio State 🤣 buckeyes fans appear to think Tony Alford wasn't important to their program when he been there 9 yrs but they continue to talk about him leaving and if he wasn't important why yall continue to talk about him then.
As a Michigan fan I hate this. I am thinking about 1997. What would the Michigan players think if David Boston wanted to transfer to Michigan. I know those players would have said hell no! That dude ain't playing with us! I would think the Ohio state players would say the same thing if Mart Ray wanted to transfer to Ohio State. I know this is about a coach but pick a side and stay on it!
I’m a Michigan fan that grew up in the early 2000s in Columbus so I have tons of friends that love OSU with a burning passion which is great it’s so much fun to banter back and forth but I’ve noticed some people on the internet are taking this way too seriously and way too far which isn’t out of the ordinary it just rubs me the wrong way to be that upset about a football coach enough to not wish him well, so I just wanted to bring that to attention and say that he’s still just a dude who’s a coach for a living and got offered a better job so he took it that’s no reason to wish him unwell or anything along those lines. This is not a reference to this video or these guys either they’re great it’s really just a general statement.
Did you live during the 10 year war? You sound like you don't know alot about the rivalry. You don't do this in the OU/TX, BAMA/AUBURN, OLE MISS/MSU, FL/GA, ETC. or this is considered treason.

Ross Fulton has no clue on the impact of Alford possibly taking the playbook to UM right now. Ask any former player and they’ll give a far more accurate response than Ross ever could.
Why wouldn't he? If he's willing to work for the enemy, stealing a playbook or other inside knowledge would be just part of the deal. It's a large part of the reason he was hired.
He was the operative word now he has the number one running back recruit Davidson out of California Mater Dei canceling his visit to Ohio State because Tony Alford now has an offense of line to compliment the great running back room . I think this would be a whole different story if this happened the third week of August. Still, I can't imagine a coach going to an arch-rival. Says something about Alford.
It’s kinda weird but we had players go to each team. OSU doesn’t really breed or emphasize loyalty in their culture. Only thing that seems important to them is how many 5 stars they can add to a roster.
So that's why Benedict Alford was always next to the printer to collect his "paperwork" and hanging out with Connor Stalions on the weekend during his last week at OSU.
