Anything is possible, but this feels like a 25+ point OSU win to me. Question in Cbus is if Knowles and Kelly continue to keep things close to the vest with the looming 10/12 trip to Oregon. Iowa's best bet is to control the clock with the run. Issues with Sonny Styles moving to LB vs Safety last year have many thinking Arvell Reese should be seeing more snaps. Howard's passes sail a bit high at times, but the receiver corps is five deep. He's big and can run, but they haven't shown much of that yet either. TBH... OSU starters have been pulled in the third quarter in every game, so if they’re still playing come the 4th quarter, that’s a good sign for Iowa. Weather will be perfect Saturday.
i think they throw a few wrinkles to make OR think, try to plan for more things they can handle as I would expect OR to do the same. OR and IA are such different styles though so its tough

If Tim Lester runs the offense, Iowa has a chance. If KF gets his liver spotted hands on the offense it will be a disaster.

The last couple of years Ohio State played ND and Texas will be coming to town in the near future and also Texas this is the first year in a long time Michigan played a quality opponent last year Michigan had a cake schedule in non conference opponents
How is the right guard a problem at Ohio State they just played the best pass rush team in the big 10 so far and gave up 0 sacks and ran for 180 and are playing two guards in that spot for depth later on this season ?

Does Joe do any research before the show? BTW. OSU was scheduled to play Washington. That game was cancelled by the B10 because Washington joined the B10. This game was replaced by Marshall.
As an Iowa fan, I think Iowa is a good team on both sides of the ball, but OSU is darned near a professional football team. The talent level is too much for pretty much every other team in the country, much less Iowa. Iowa could play its best game and likely lose anyway. OSU is insanely good, and better at every position, except possibly linebacker and tight end.

Imagine judging Iowas secondary off of 4 plays out of 200 some odd snaps of football and saying a team will have success based off of those 4 plays. Facts, Iowa got beat by ISU on 2 big plays and Troy had 2 of their own. I’m no where near saying Iowa will win, but last time these 2 met up, it was 10-0 going into halftime at the Horseshoe. That was with FUCKING CJ Stroud as their QB. Now (believe or not) Iowa is averaging 32 points a game and not negative 14, on offense. I know unbelievable, but still true. If Michigan State was able to get into OSU territory, and only failed to turn that into any points because they suck, then Iowa should be able to do the same. Hopefully they score 😂. The Buckeyes certainly possess the ability to blow Iowa out, but stop playing with this defense bro. The talent gap isn’t that wide, where Ohio State is just going to destroy Iowa 50-0. We have one of the best special teams coordinators in the country, one of the best defensive coordinators in the country, the longest tenured head coach in all of college football history, and anything is better than what we had as OC 😂😂😂. Literally, a monkey is better. We’ll be fine. Now with that being said, 30-14 Ohio State 😂😂😂. LFG Hawkeyes!!!
@@Jus-Too-Smoove Iowa has a good defensive coordinator who people respect, and some other decent coaches, but as far as Kirk Ferentz, he really should have been fired years ago! He was ok at the University of Maine, where I’m from, but as a big time coach, he isn’t! In my opinion he is the most overrated, overpaid head coach in college football! How he has been able to stay at Iowa, making a ridiculous amount of money every year is beyond me! I guess the University of Iowa, and their fan base are happy with being average, at best! Iowa isn’t some blue blood team. Don’t we all know that? The only problem I have with Kirk, is the fact that he got this team to where we’re at, but can’t seem to get it past this point. But 2 B1G Ten championship appearances in the last 3 years is pretty fuckin good. I know you’ll say divisions, but it’s more than what the Buckeyes have done in 3 years. And I’m not a Buckeye hater. I think they could win it all, but I’m just stating facts. I wish we did have a Ryan Day, Nick Saban, or Kirby Smart, but this is Iowa, and Kirk has done a pretty damn good job. OSU didn't get a lot of people from the transfer portal 😂...they got a center, a TE, a running back, a safety and a true freshman QB. It's hard to take analysts seriously who get their info from ESPN and don't actually research.

The qb that came in was a big 12 champ. RB broke Herschel Walker’s rushing records. the safety was the 1st fr to start under Nick The Goat Saban. I think they’re ok. the defense returns a major core other than Mike Hall who was a Kodiak bear. The question is can they stop coming out sluggish and give teams hope. If they start fast, they could probably beat everybody other than TX, Bama, GA by 20+.
As far as schedule goes, why are teams always bashed like the players chose from an order menu? If your schedule is soft an you’re an elite team the question is did you curb stomp them? If not, why? If so, you did what you should have and you truly measure in a matchup game.
Did you watch the Bama Georgia game? It was a sloppy fest. Full of turnover mistakes. Nothing impressive to brag about. Both teams like Ave. teams. They aren't National Championship Caliper.

Analysts talk about Ohio State’s schedule but fail to talk about how Washington was supposed to be the Power 5 non conference opponent, but when they joined the big 10 they had to find a team to replace them. That’s the reason the schedule is weak.

I think Will Howard will throw 2 to 3 INTs in this game. Howard also can't throw deep. Everytime he has tried it's been short. We're 4 games in and we haven't seen one completed deep ball WTF!? Will Howard is better at not fumbling the ball compared to McCord but McCord is a way better passer. Will Howard seen the writing on the wall at his last school and even that dude is way better than him. Ryan Day needs to start Devon Brown before it's too late. I'm an Ohio State fan BTW
Dude no hate for Devin Brown, but I don’t think he is it, if anything I would rather start freshman Julian Sayin. I think Will is a good Quarterback, only thing suspect is maybe not having as much of an arm as McCord, but there are many more games to play so we will see. Other wise I say Will is better at everything else. We have also seen Will use his legs some and will see it more in the big games. OH
