Got a chuckle on the conversation about Corum's "penalty": Announcer: "I'm not seeing a penalty there." Color Guy: "We'll take whatever we can get." Announcer: "I'm not complaining... I'm just sayin'."
Excellent coverage by these two. They seem to know as much about the Wolverines as they do their own team. Impressive preparation. I hope Purdue can improve next year so their jobs are more enjoyable.
I agree Tim Newton and Pete Quinn were really good, Mark Herrman has done good so far BTW he also did the color for the Indianapolis Colts radio along with PBP guy Bob Lamey for a few years before Ted Marchibroda took over.
Pete Quinn was animated if they did something good he would cheer and if they did something bad Pete would groan and I definitely feel the pain along with him
Aw, you should have put the Purdue TD in so we can hear those announcers announce something positive for their team. They were really good at their jobs.
4:57 - "Purdue has got to do something offensively. They cannot let this defense go right back on the field. They can't have a turnover, they can't have a three and out-" Moments later: "...and that pass is intercepted." "Wow."
Tim Newton and Pete Quinn did a really good job announcing Purdue Football I started listening to Purdue Football in 1996 when it was Joe McConnell doing the PBP and he was really good, Tim Newton is a good PBP announcer himself doing both football & women's basketball for Purdue. This game was during Pete Quinn's last year as a color man, now former Purdue QB Mark Herrman is doing the color.
EXCELLENT Radio call. I'm watching this AFTER watching the PSU radio call, and this one is WAY better than the overhyped PSU radio call, which was chock full of bad takes and refusal to admit wrong.

The best thing about this "scandal" is how easy it's become to identify people who know absolutely nothing about football and sign stealing. Yall are just out here advertising it.
I enjoyed this broadcast much more than listening to Karsch. That guy just does not have a pbp voice. He sounds like he was swallowing broken glass and then was kicked in the balls for two hrs before game time. I refuse to listen to him anymore. ,🙉

Honest, yet fair.
Excellent coverage by these two. They seem to know as much about the Wolverines as they do their own team. Impressive preparation. I hope Purdue can improve next year so their jobs are more enjoyable.
Again very even handed broadcast. Only one that’s been a disappointment was MSU
Msu was very on brand for their team and fans
Big surprise from sexual assault U.
Very professional
MSU announcers did praise JJ though and said Michigan was the real deal or something similar
Maryland was pretty bad too I thought
I think these announcers are great. Thanks for showcasing opposing team announcers.
As a Michigan man. Good call by these two
Purdue broadcasters represent Purdue better than the Purdue coaching staff.
I actually appreciate how knowledgeable these two guys seem.
I agree Tim Newton and Pete Quinn were really good, Mark Herrman has done good so far BTW he also did the color for the Indianapolis Colts radio along with PBP guy Bob Lamey for a few years before Ted Marchibroda took over.
The color man on this call was great. Loved his emotions coming through.
Pete Quinn was animated if they did something good he would cheer and if they did something bad Pete would groan and I definitely feel the pain along with him
This wasn’t nearly as salty as I thought it might be. Pretty calm, cool & collected from the Purdue radio folks.
Actually quite enjoyed this broadcast..sure make George blahblah seem like a 🤡
George is a clown.
Tbf, blahblah makes himself look like a 🤡
He is a clown.
The holding call on Corum was horrendous
These announcers are really good. Of all the radio calls so far I think they’ve demonstrated the most skill and knowledge. Really great.
Absolutely 😃💯👍
Aw, you should have put the Purdue TD in so we can hear those announcers announce something positive for their team. They were really good at their jobs.
been looking forward to these all season, just realized I wasn’t subscribed yet! Definitely becoming a part of the week for me.
Like these radio announcers. Old school.
These are so good, thanks!
Can't wait for the Michigan @ PSU video!!! GO BLUE!!!!
Great call by Purdue radio.

I really appreciate the secondary guy saying "wide open" just like almost in aMaizement
EXCELLENT Radio call. I'm watching this AFTER watching the PSU radio call, and this one is WAY better than the overhyped PSU radio call, which was chock full of bad takes and refusal to admit wrong.
I love JJ! Can't wait to see him throw to Jettas! SKOL!

Wow, this radio duo really put the MSU team to shame. I loved Blaha on Pistons calls, but he is downright terrible on MSU calls.
Do you have the 2021 OSU radio broadcast?
That holding penalty at 11:01 uh… lol no?
These guys are awesome. It sucks they've got to put up with cryin' Ryan #2.
“Donovan edwards the backup”??? He is a 5 star that is just used different from corum.
Have to credit the Purdue announcers. No 'homer' crap.
21:03 pretty much sums up how he felt about calling this game lol
HAIL, GO BLUE
This was JJ worst game next to the bowling green game. and still went for over 300 yards passing with no Int's or TDs
Last time he had an off game, he (and Michigan) went on to dominate the next 4 games.. Let's hope that repeats!
The spade was a spade Ryan Walters you didn't even belong on the same field as Harbaugh.
You know Purdue did something bad whenever Pete Quinn groans
His voice sounds familiar. A NASCAR guy maybe?
Why didn’t you show the only three good plays they had? 4&1, muff punt, and TD??? Lol
Hail to the cheaters hail to the losers! Player knew everything

Good luck with that.

I have to agree....
Beckmann to Karsh was a significant downgrade for Michigan radio listeners.
@@MissionForward3 To be fair, it was Beckmann to Brandstatter to Karsch. Which is a slight improvement.
