Love love love to see how pumped/excited Ken gets watchin old motocross races! He eats/sleeps/breathes this stuff!! Funny how helicopters were used to video over the motocross track, replaced by drones now.
1996 sure does bring back memories I can't believe time went so fast sometimes I feel like I was robbed of my youth but I guess that's just the way it is time flies by
Love this channel and all the badass bikes so much. Pains me to know I'll never get the chance to ride any of the bikes on this channel in the condition they're in. Always flawless.
I don't know why but out of all the 250s throughout the years the kx 250 has always sounded like an open bike i.e. 500 . It's got such a deep throaty sound!! I'm not sure because I've never compared the specs but I would be willing to bet that the compression ratio is substantially higher 5han the other big 3
I remember subscribing when you guys only had 300 subs. Unfortunately I couldn’t afford a bike at all right now but you guys keep my love for bikes going. Thank you SR and JR. The 96 kx250 is actually my dream bike
My dad has a RM250 i think it's a 1978 model that his friend used to race back in the day & won some championships with the bike still has the racing numbers on it & runs like a champ
I have a wr 500 now it's a legit 504 cc. 16 44 gearing porting head mods 40 mm flat slide from kx. Terra flex USA tire. Pink shock spring tourqouise seat. None of OEM stuff is on bike but still have in boxes. Ride in Dez in so cal. Never walked or towed back.
Thats my bike ! I want it back ! Just kidding , you guys have to admit the 250 2 stroke is the perfect mix of power and precision handling. I absolutely love mine and stomp on all my friends that ride 450 4 strokes with me at the track. They can't match it.
Sr.... you're the epitome of seniors. Lol. I miss living in the Berkshires/NE. Was a great place to grow up. That being said.... You need to pack up shop, family etc. and move out here to Colorado. Many, many places to "plant your flag" and open up shop. Then you can have actual places to ride. Literally millions of acres and thousands of miles for OHV fun. Not to mention... it's the best F'ing state. Ever. Twist a grip!
Brings back oh so many lovely memories, the good old days when bike's were bikes and not just 4 strokes. Lovely to here you get all excited watching them race lol me too.
One-of-a-kind demos from a one-of-a-kind motor sport dealer. Kap does a decent job of putting these panty magnets through the paces. His love for these bikes is the truth serum when it comes to getting what you pay for! Top flight experience for the buyer...
I can’t wait to support- liquidating my E*TRADE account to expedite my trip to the museum faster. With a stack of cash and a tip- just hope I get senior and the entire team to christen the bike. Man that thing is gorgeous- dimepiece ! Love that word ! Ok back to the video my bad- I’ll shut up lol
Bike sounds GREAT!!! Almost had that 500 bark to it!!! That's it you guys hiring?? I'm packing up and heading across the states! Lol. Keep up the awesome work guys!! The positive attitude is refreshing!!
I left this video after to go rewatch that Race from 1996 !!! man good times back then! I was still on my Kx 80 at the time of that race, being in the living room watching it on tv with my Helmet on in the house lol ! what a Dork but what kid didn't do that haha
Bought a 96 KX250 in 1998 as a leftover didn't like the purple but probably the most explosive bottom end Bang of a 250 motor ever not a bad top end either that thing had some power had a lot of fun with that bike
It’s definitely a duck - dude can’t wait till you guys are on cable ! That purple!!! Sooo cool , I love the work orders, the information. #learning !!!! 🤝🙏🇺🇸💪🏻👍🏻
Mixing gas and hauling ass! I bought a Husqvarna 250cc 2 stroke from 1989. I didn't know bikes from the 80's had so much power, it's awesome! Cheers from Sweden!
I love the 90's vibrant colors with the purple/green/pink on the kx's. I love Honda too but the kx's just have a special place in my heart. First bike I ever had was a 99' kx100, I still have the bike to this day. Planning on restoring it soon and ripping it around some.
Hay guys like the vids and all the old school 2 stroke my bikes I live in new zealand and I've owned a couple my best was a cr125 98 I think 2 stroke over 4 stroke any day keep up the good work with all the vids you guys put up and stay safe with the whole covid19 stuff
I had a 98 kx 250, it was an amazing bike, i later bought a brand new 01 cr 250, also a fast bike, probably faster than the 98 kx but it had a top end motor and the kawi had a bottom end motor but was extremely fast and handled better than my honda in my opinion.
Got a 97 kx250 and has power to spare. Mine has the 97 factory kawi graphics and seat cover, fmf shorty and race tech suspension. Showed the alta E bikes being demo'ed out the what for
Had a 96’ kx250 brand new and then bought a 2003 kx250 brand new. I loved those bikes. The 96’ was quicker from the factory than my 03’. I’m not sure if it was the suspension setup or what but, the 96’ handled whoop sections and rhythm sections much better. Eventually the 03’ got an ohlins fully adjustable shock makeover with springs and all and after that it was lights out.
If Bruce Willis was a motocross bike, he’d be this. These KX250’s were a smash hit in the 90’s. That 96 in particular has the strongest low to mid pull of any 250 I’d ever thrown a leg over.
would love to see this drag race some modern yz250's hell even the older ones.. a few 500's swap riders etc... would make a great video.. keep it up, love the videos!
I own the 98 version running perfectly and it’s just as fast as ktm 350 in a straight line but a 450 ktm is just faster, if we want it to be true or not
I had a 96 new. The blue purple tanks always were a love hate relationship...but the 96 decals were pretty cool. I was 14 at the time. Prob should of kept me 96 along with my 97 cr125
Yeah this motorcycle is a great idea for a responseable 17 year old... but I’m not sure if I wanna go back .. used to run a 1990 cr 250.... currently xr650l but never again with an explosive 2 cycle much too much for a 47 year old man but the kids will love it
I grew up on 80’s bikes. One that eluded me was the kawi 250. I just found a 1986 Mint kx250. I’m gonna buy it. But want to ride it and make it my weekend bike. What are some concerns aside from fork seals I should check? I’ll probably bring it to you guys anyway.
Nothing beats the sound of a great running 250 2 stroke!!!!
Love love love to see how pumped/excited Ken gets watchin old motocross races! He eats/sleeps/breathes this stuff!! Funny how helicopters were used to video over the motocross track, replaced by drones now.
1996 sure does bring back memories I can't believe time went so fast sometimes I feel like I was robbed of my youth but I guess that's just the way it is time flies by
He keeps putting up these hidden-away MINT bikes... 🏁🇺🇸🏁
Go brother go . Nice to see some sanity in this insane new world.
Amen brother
JIMMY B
Yep try not dwell on the news it's just depressing...
That opening just fires me up everytime
Love this channel and all the badass bikes so much. Pains me to know I'll never get the chance to ride any of the bikes on this channel in the condition they're in. Always flawless.
I’d pay top dollar! This bike is so amazing! Bikes from 90-99 were my favorite the colors are sick and rare ! Much love to you guys from Atlanta
Another beautiful lawnmower! Sweet bike man; one of my faves.
The '90's.. when the color purple on dirt bikes was all the craze.

Damn, I want that purple 96. It brings back the best days in mx for me.
Another wicked MX classic. You's have them all.
That KX250 is a beast, runs and looks like a brand new. love the colors of 96 kawis, my brother had 96 KX125.

U got to love the 90s 2 stroke graphics!!!💯
These mid to late 90's KX250 motors are awesome! 👍 I have a 1999 250 💪💪💪
Iv got 99 to, bringing her back to life with 02 graphics 👍
@@empiresrikesfat Where did you get the graphics? I'm looking for oem Kawasaki graphics as well, but unfortunately they were discontinued by Kawasaki.
Man you guys have some unbelievable bikes nothing left to say
Oh wow this is fantastic, this bike is beautiful. It's a privilege to watch your content.
Just a stunner! This is one of the most amazing bikes ever built😀👍🇺🇸
One-of-a-kind demos from a one-of-a-kind motor sport dealer. Kap does a decent job of putting these panty magnets through the paces. His love for these bikes is the truth serum when it comes to getting what you pay for! Top flight experience for the buyer...
Hang in there Ken you guys are mint eh 💪from Alberta Canada ✌️

I can’t wait to support- liquidating my E*TRADE account to expedite my trip to the museum faster. With a stack of cash and a tip- just hope I get senior and the entire team to christen the bike. Man that thing is gorgeous- dimepiece ! Love that word ! Ok back to the video my bad- I’ll shut up lol

"it takes of like an absolute Rocketship "😂My cousin has this 'Rocketship' and loves it.
Really really nice bikes yet again and Mr KAPLAN your good on a bike love it .
You need to record some of your 2 strokes and then release it as an album, it would defiantly make the top ten.
Look at that place !!! Toys r us for adults!! This is awesome
Thank God for 🇯🇵 japan !!! Damb that thing is beautiful- that kawi green !!
Absolutely love the Green Machines! 2Strokes rule!
ON THE PIPE!!!!!!! YAA BABY!!!!!!!!

Oh I guarantee you Sr on the pipe with a honda or kx would smoke all the modern 4 strokes today.
I own the 98 version running perfectly and it’s just as fast as ktm 350 in a straight line but a 450 ktm is just faster, if we want it to be true or not
I have a 98 kx 250 and a 2015 ktm 350 the kx is so much more fun to ride
