@Street Speed 717 we all would like to see you get in the shop and do the "Shake Test" on the valve train, all the better on a low mile example and supercharged (LS7) Had my LS7 Z06 heads done with Brass guides, a long while back at 8200 miles.
One thing to consider that I’ve seen a few C6 ZO6 owners is top their LS7 with ZR-1 Supercharger, if you swapped out the block for the larger displacement with the SC on top it would be a complete sleeper. Maybe do that same 427ci Package you had on the grandpa vett only retain the ZR-1 Blower with a Pulley Swap and a Port / Polish would just make that car super sick. 😍
KEEP THE SILVER!!!!!! I read years ago in design school that Duntov always felt that silver was the ideal color for Corvettes, and that the body shapes "read' well visually in that color. On my screen the bumpers on the white truck look whiter than the truck paint, so may be just a camera thing, but the difference is pretty easy to spot.

The C6 Corvette was the first gen I liked. Mike just reminded me why I liked them so much. So beautiful and so different from the rest in the best way...i think white or yellow would be so cool on that C6 ZR1 but idk. Maybe do a colour corvettes are known to rock? Like Ferrari's are red or yellow etc.

White Diamond tricoat is a bitch to match. I have been shopping for a used CTS Coupe in that color but i'm horrified at how the bumper covers and rocker covers never match the rest of the car and supposedly these cars have not been wrecked. Leading me to believe they come that way from the factory.

I live down here in Florida near Dalton, also have a lowered Z, and I don't think I can drive a mile without scraping. Hell, I've got a 2010 and have replaced the front splitter six times.
