Can you please tell us on how to do the "Sandbagging" method? I don't know if you know this but judging from your knowledge about PvP and can reach "Admiral of the Navy", I assume that you know about it.
Yes. That is basically 1 of 2 main topics for the sequel video. I figured I'd start out simple for a baseline. The advanced guide will most certainly talk about "sandbagging".
On to the advanced guide I guess. I never dabbled much in PvP aside from merit and exp gains but lately I've been getting annoyed that every time I get close to the top 1000, I run out of excersizes and then when I play again hours later after a restocking period kicked in, I have to try again from like 3000. Maybe a problem with my defense fleet, but afaik its not a weak fleet (then again, I don't have that much technical know-how about the game. There's so many options with ships and gear that I just couldn't be bothered to learn all the ins and outs all this time. It's an overwhelming amount of options. Basically rn I'm just using a fleet that deals 1.0 - 1.15 mil damage in META Showdown - and the same as both attacking and defense fleet. Attacking isnt a problem unless the opponent has like 17500/16000 fleet power as mine has 16925/15093 (Musashi, Shinano, New Jersey, Shimakaze, Yuudachi, Sandy), but I lose 1000-2500 or so ranks every restock.
Speaking of gear is there anything worthwhile in the core shop useful in pvp other than the rainbow torpedo auxillary and the 2 super heavy shells for battleships?
You are correct in that the Oxy Torp and the White/Black Shells are the best core data shop equipment. However, the Grumman and Homing Beacon are decent choices to have on hand in case you have to play around with CV launch times (PvP or PvE). Also, for PvP you'll need the Aviation Gasoline for most CVs.
Hi, I have a question, I'm only Lv. 28 and my ships are under Lv. 100 (the highest I have is Lv. 80) Can I play the exercises with those statistics or i have to increase them? Thank you
You should play them to get exp and merit points. However don't expect to win too many. Unless you care about the vanity of win rate, just play and get exp/merit. Worry about ranking high later.
Occasionally the different regional servers (ie. CN v. JP v. EN) do. However the 4 global (EN) servers host the same events. This video has been in the process of being made for 2 months now (I kept placing higher priority on other more time sensitive content), so some of the clips are older.
No. The only reason to have a good defense fleet is to potentially have an opponent lose and thus not gain rank score. This will help you rank higher than them at the end of the season. Note using a farmable (bad) defense fleet will allow lower players to pass you. Early in the season this can be seen as a good thing as you can farm them back for more points from them (and then later on switch to a good fleet and beat them).

Ya, part of me is still sad I threw matches away early on in my account for the exp. It was the right thing to do, but it does make my win% lower to this day.

You don't necessarily have to close and re-open the game to update the opponents. You can log out from the settings menu too. It's a little faster
Good tip. Personally, I just close the app when I'm done playing. Then I reopen and do exercises first.

Just3c has a pretty good guide for PvP. Although if I recall PVP is actually you versus a fleet assembled by another player but is controlled by AI.
Both fleets are controlled by the AI for Exercises.

I'm pretty new to the game tbh, is it fine to do excercises despite losing for the merit and exp?
Yes, this is even the recommended practice for newer players. That is unless you have too much pride for your Exercise WR%.
