The Intel 13th gen Core i9-13900K and 14th gen Core i9-14900K have faced some power management and thermal issues, which Intel has acknowledged and is addressing with microcode updates. While users of the 14500HX laptop variant may not have experienced these problems, updating the BIOS per Intel's recommendations is advised if such issues arise.
