Very helpful, way better than other laptop review videos out there. Gives quality info for us beginners in buying laptops and also ideas on how we should choose out units. Thank you
Buti na lang napanood ko to video mo Sir , nagpapabili kasi ng Laptop ang anak ko na nasa college, at nag rereview nga ako ng mga budget laptop, bka po may irerecommend kayo na brand ng laptop 20k below budget salamat
another thing to consider with screens, especially for architects/ digital artists, is the color accuracy, hirap kunin yung tamang colors ng renders/ digital art mo kung yung mismong screen mo e di rin tama yung kulay.
When it comes to Res and Screen size, i recommend FHD for 13-15.6” laptops. For 16” laptops and bigger, i recommend going for QHD or 4K. (But 4K can be quite demanding, so QHD is perfectly enough.) FHD: 1920 x 1080 QHD: 2560 x 1440 4K: 3840 x 2160 If your budget can afford it, i’d suggest to go straight for a higher res in 16-17.3” laptops. If not, settle with FHD. (Having a FHD display in such a large screen like a 17.3” laptop might give you a blurry picture. You can start to see some noticeable pixels in a screen like those.)
@@kouhaiii3182 Like i said, 4K is still too demanding nowadays. 1440p is the sweet spot if u want a higher res while not sacrificing too much performance. If your budget affords it, i’d suggest you go with QHD on 16” and larger screens. Or else the screen would look blurry.
@@nileredsexperiment834 like i said, stick to 1080p. people who don't already know that 4K is (or 1440p for that matter) probably don't need it and would only be spending more for something they won't notice
@@mathew6097 idk, cuz for me it really is. And the pixels in a 1080p res being stretched out further in such a big screen like 17.3” can make the pixels start to look more noticeable and thus make the picture quality look more blurrier and worse.
Love this content! Lods Dustin, may onting add-ons lang din ako😅 About the GPU. *For casual users - iGPU will do the trick (Iris Xe for intel, at least Radeon Vega series for AMD, would be best if RDNA). *Entry level gamers - Nvidia GTX 1650 to RTX 3050ti *Mid level gamers(AAA titles, Up to FHD, high) - Nvidia RTX 2060 to RTX 4060 *Hardcore Gamers(QHD ULTRA SETTINGS)- 8gb vram is the sweet spot of GPUs... From Nvidia RTX 3070 to RTX 4090. 😁👌
I am not Mid-hardcore gamers, but for those who produce K-pop MVs, or Hardcore K-pop mashup editors, 6-8GB VRAM is recommended, for those who do K-pop edits, 4GB is fine. You don't need over 200K laptop unless you want to produce a K-pop MV, or one of the director of the said K-pop MVs, or agency.
Additional tip: aside from the specs, ppl should also consider yung cooling ng laptop. Always running it on very high temperatures could cause some problems and affect its components in the long run. So kung may target ka nang brand at model, mas better if tumingin muna ng reviews and research bago bilhin. Wag padala sa sales talk. May kaibigan akong bumili ng bnew gaming laptop from a lesser known chinese brand. Ganda ng specs for a very low price rtx 3070, 12th gen intel cpu. The problem is, the temps are hovering around 80 even on idle. Pinapalitan nalang niya.
I actually don't recommend the HUAWEI Matebook dahil sa dami ng hardware limitations. Mine is 8GB model and it's soldered na yung memory chip, hindi nauupgrade.
Bought a 3rd Gen intel i5 2nd hand laptop with a dell warranty until 2027for half its price. Reviewesd the specs while watching this video and it's such a steal❤❤
Personal experience : wag kayo bibili ng dell inspiron, based on my experience it's not good for light gaming, wherein cooling is poor, and laptop quality itself such as hinge niya
2:28 I would disagree dito. Dual channel will still works kahit magkaiba ang ram sizes. I have 1 laptop and PC na magkaiba ang ram sizes ng ram sticks and both running at dual channel
Thanks for info.... Coz my brothers laptop was Lenovo.. He complain bagal ng capacity po matagal sa charging. Yung complain ng Kuya ko nung time nag work siya hr manager sa quezon city.

I actually bought an asus laptop way back in 2017 w/ laptop factory (eto ung time na wla pa ung physical store sa ground floor and nasa mezzanine lng cya noon 😂 naalala ko pa ung nakita ni mama na malaking jar na may gripo sa katabing store, gusto nyang bilhin😂) and it still works well. It's an i7 6th gen mejo mabagal na ngayon sa rendering w/ autodesk kc nga luma na, pero still much better than some of my classmates' latptop. I bought it for around P34k+ i think. sulit na sulit na sa inyo ako bumili😊 pag sa iba ako bimili around P50k cguro un nung time na un😂 budget worth it.

Consider also the brand. Huwag bumili ng bagong sulpot na Chinese brands dahil lang napakamura.
Is Lenovo a good one?
@aubreyvenas8926 yes. 3 years na lenovo ko wala pang problema. Basta alagaan mo lang.
Ang Lenovo q 2015,,Ngayon lng sumuko😢
