Hey Vick 2 years ago I bought some Jordan Spizike's off of eBay because I wanted to restore and customise them, I never got around to it, but I was thinking about doing it soon. I was just wondering what I should because the pair I bought are suede and the suede has been completely worn away on both medial side ankle areas. Probably because of chafing against one another by whoever wore them. So they're shiny and a rubber like material, should I just paint over them or is there anything I could do to give it the appearance that they haven't been damaged?
I knew you were gonna mention Chefhuyle !! Would’ve been mad if you didn’t tbh he’s killing it doing this type of style. 🙌🏾 y’all go check him out. Nice work on the frags Vick!!!!
Their actually perfect the way they are... A lot of the guys on IG customs just look like some played softball in them...I got few pair of vintage kicks from the 80s that are DS and OG aging looks the best...
Does hot coffee increase the aging? Vic always uses cool water for his coffee soaks; I’ve seen others use hot coffee and the color is more caramel than Vic’s.
If you retrobright the yellow oxidation to remove it and then spray a UV protection clear coat on it, it should prevent the yellowing from coming back.
@@RESHOEVN8R It's just a clear coat with UV protection in it. It's the same principle as cleaning and buffing a headlight on your car. It's the UV light that causes it to haze and yellow(some off-gassing too). After cleaning and buffing your headlight, you need apply a clear coat with UV protection in it, otherwise the yellowing and haze comes right back. Rustoleum makes it. I think Krylon does too. It's literally just a spray clear coat, but it says on the label that it has UV protection in it.

Great video Vick! I stumbled upon this and was inspired to transform my panda dunks into something a little more unique. The upper came out looking AMAZING. The only thing is the midsole has uneven staining from the coffee. I was going to use the midsole stainer but I’m unsure if those blotches of coffee stain on the midsole will blend in. Any suggestions to get the midsole a nice even coat? Should I remove the coffee on the midsole before applying the midsole stainer?
Awesome vid 💯💯💯💯. I like the aged look too. I have some fragment 3s , but also like the bright white look as well. Hate the back tab though. You mentioned that you can reverse the discoloration of the back tab? How is that done bro? 🔥 Vid indeed 💯💯
I did the coffee dye method on my AJ1 Heritage and it barely did anything so then i read you gotta remove the top coat first, so i did, but i also saw some suggest tea bags, so i did dark roast coffee and oolong tea bags over night. My shit is ruined lol there's permanent dotted brown stains everywhere like someone took a paint brush with brown paint and splattered both shoes. WTF. Now i guess i gotta color match the cream and red to cover the stains. I don't paint so this is a nightmare. Better to paint all pure white and re-do the coffee method?
Only a little bit on the red and only one dark dot on the back of a tongue, and some on the soles but i dont mind the soles because i was going to make them darker anyway. Ill make it simple on myself and repaint all white and re-do coffee method.
Thanks for watching you guys, I always appreciate the love! 🙌🏽 right now I’m working on video that’s going to be a game changer! Stay tuned 🔥

Where can we get the custom swoosh's 🤔👀
The Tinker swoosh fits just perfect! Vic killing it as always
Vick is unstoppable
@@ninobrown90 i dont know bro, I mean I respect your opinion but to me thats swoosh just give em a little extra touch... plus I love tinker 3s
@@ninobrown90 i know, but like they say to each its own, and for me good cuz I can cop without paying that much
@@thelilbeat1 the jordan 3s are way better with a swoosh they should just permanently put a swoosh on every jordan 3 release

@@RESHOEVN8R Yeah but now its a 3 color old shoe.. Not fresh and crisp😬
Just highlights how much Fragment/Nike/Jordan left on the table for these. Way to show em how it’s done Vick! 🔥
Thank you so much for doing this with cold tap water. I needed to see these results.
Love the Fragment blue combo with the black leather that came out real nice. These are dope
Thanks for tuning in!
Racer Blue 3s are what the Fragment 3s should've been, but the Tinker 3 swoosh was a great touch as well.

this is probably one of my favorite custom ever!
Simple custom but so clean! Thank you for watching.
Sweet ! 2in1, Aging dye and nice cold brew !
😂😂😂
I wonder if warm water would've given it a deeper cream color and done it faster. Sick job as usual 👍🏾

Damnnnnn yo. I’m bout to do the same thing to mine😂. Theyyyy toughhhhhh🔥🔥 good work Vick

Do you have an idea if we need to put a finisher on this? Or after you put them in the washer, that's it? Thanks in advance!

This is a fire shoe, Jordan brand and fragmemt should be taking notes. Good video though
This custom is better than the two you drew inspiration from. Great job!
Not gonna hold you that design fye
I have those Fragment and i think they look way better in their original colourway
Thanks for the feedback!
Those shoes hit home 🙇🏽♂️
Where can the swooshes be purchased?
Dope custom, the blue was too much imo. But the swoosh & coffee technique was on point.
please tell me the ratio of each of the red and purple paint
VIC is the GOAT!
Most def, the only reason I watch every video he’s on 😂

Any suggestions on how to make the Nike swoosh? Any dimensions?
Chef Huyle offers his aging service. How much for you to do these to my Fragment 3's, Vick?!!! Dead serious!
God damn Vick, amazing custom

Can you use instant coffee instead of coffee grounds?
That was a waste of Folgers 😂😂😂
I haven't touched my fragment 3's since I got them on release day. The back tab started yellowing about 4 months ago
Thats the downfall with this pair is it yellows super fast.
@@RESHOEVN8R There is a way to fix this ?
You should customize a pair of these to look like the Nike Yeezy’s
