This was an incredible time! I’ve been looking forward to your thoughts on Taylor’s music since that preview video way back when, and massive endeavours like this are always worth the wait! It’s fantastic to get such a solid breakdown of her songwriting as well hearing what about them specifically makes them as good as they are. I can’t wait to hear which music you talk about next!
Taylors songwriting is just so so good. Billy Joel in a recent interview said "she is this generations Beatles". That is an incredible compliment and she has impacted and changed the music industry like they did. however, and no offence meant to Mr. Joel, he is an icon, legend and was one of the first songwriters to make me fall in love with lyricism, but the Beatles can not touch her as far as story telling and lyrics.
