In our area (region): Paul - we use "P" and make the sign for "travel" with that. Paul traveled as a missionary. Peter - we use the "P" upside down under the down turned palm of the opposite hand, because Peter was crucified upside down. This helps differentiate the two without extra explanation when both men are referred to in the same dialog or message. There is some debate on using the sign you did for Peter on the rock. Many pastors view Jesus as the rock referred to in Matt 16:18. The Petra vs. Petros debate (1 Cor 10:4 & 1 Pt 2:7,8)

For Daniel I use d and the sign for lion
The sign I learned for Moses was like the sign for commandments and testament and laws. But with an M replacement double stamped on the hand.

Thanks! My Deaf friends (in Ontario) taught me that Paul is a P on top of an open palm, with a writing motion because he wrote the epistles. I know that John the Baptist can be "baptise+agent sign", but I haven't yet found "the apostle John". Anyone can show me that? Do I have to fingerspell it all the time?
