It also means you look out to the horizon rather than focusing on boat so your eyes quit focusing on the boats local horizon and warring with the information from your inner ear.
Got enough battery to pick him up Worse comes to worse He rows you back 😂 You guys are living the dream Thanks for letting me come with The three of you take care and pet jetty for me
I love Sierra’s honesty about those less than great sailing voyages. But those are the ones that make the good ones even better! Thanks for the honesty in your depictions. You’re both awesome 😎.
Very cool trip for me to ride along. Did the same thing when I was about your age, exactly 40 years ago. We were on a large research vessel and the park allowed us to just tie up alongside the pier when we got in. I couldn't wait to be in the water, so I dove off the top of the wheelhouse, sure there was plenty of depth available in that clear water. I just kept going down till it was getting dark, then reversed and did a crash surface! The park Rangers had gathered on the dock and were laughing when I surfaced. They knew I had seen a Barracuda down there, bigger than me and I'm well over 6 feet! She was their pet. The weather turned badly and our vessel had to go ride it out, so the park allowed us to set up camp in those larger, upper, gun ports. We just stacked coolers filled with water to block the wind and rain from pouring into the gun ports. They let us explore and, cool fact, Ft Jefferson was built as a giant rainwater catch basin and beneath those lower gun ports is a vast system of cisterns. Lack of maintenance and years of deterioration later, those cisterns are now filled with saltwater and fish! Cool, safe, cave-dive! But, for me, it's the lower, smaller gun ports that were great to see in this video. Weathering the storm with us was an architectural historian that was studying those ports, to try to save them. He taught us about how he evaluated metal damage and stonework problems. Look! What started 40 years ago has been completed and those gun ports look no-longer ready to come apart! Thanks for the video.
So woke up to 42 degrees here in Ohio today ugh. I decided to put on my Tula long sleeve shirt to wear to the grocery store. An older gentleman “whatever Floats Your Boat and asked what’s Tula. He then proceeded to tell me all about renting scooters in Martha’s Vineyard with his ex wife and living to tell about it...lol. It’s warming up now so time to go sailing at our lake. Enjoy your trip.
I am really digging your adventures on the trimaran. I am.sure it is not easy as you make it seem. Keep making these great videos. Sierra nothing has changed you look as beautiful as ever.
I’ve been watching you kids sale for almost 3 years I am so impressed on the knowledge and the tens of thousands of miles that the three of you have sailed just blows my mind. Third being the dog give that dog a bone for me tell the dog is from a fan thank you 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Melbourne Beach
My wife and I have been watching you three from the beginning and just love you all. Billy,, love and respect your comment about Sierra looking younger. Sierra is like my wife of 30 years. They become more beautiful every year! Be safe and enjoy!
Hey Guys, I have a one burner camping stove on my Farrier 22. Here in Aus I got a Halo bag. It heat retention bag that goes around the pot to keep that part warm (or even slowly continue to cook), while your prepare the next part. Nice boat.
Thank you so much for mentioning the audio issues,I had headphones on and thought I may have an issue, but I did not want to stop and check against other sources.Your videos are that good! Thank you for sharing!
Been watching your videos for just a week or so now. Like the content and enjoy the scenery. As for cooking look into the GoSun Solar ovens, particularly the Fusion model, as it can cook via sun or electric. I have two different models and they really cook very well. Not only that but they cook (slow cook) while you are out walking the beach etc. I am not affiliated with them at all but just a happy customer. It really can help you with cooking in your environment. Lasagna, potatoes, soups and bread etc.
That seaplane (DeHavaland Otter) with a turbine Pratt & Whitney engine instead of the piston 7:15 Radial engine, last time I checked belonged to Pro-Mec Air out of Alaska. They kept that one in Key West to fly daily out there. Back awhile ago they asked my husband IF he would be interested in that run but he told them, not really.
Billy seems to have a natural affinity for wind and speed and I was wondering when he was going to get foils for the catamaran. It is wonderful to have a beautiful woman and a dog to come get you. Sierra does some nice shots of the intrepid sea dog and is doing magic on the burner. Totally beautiful days.
Billy, Sierra and Jetty You guys are rock stars. I absolutely love Sierra’s honestly because I’ve been sea sick crossing total waves in the Pacific. Kiteboarding is my passion and I love when you both ride. Have a blessed one
Love y’all! Water is absolutely gorgeous in the Tortugas. What a cool place and looking forward to checking out the Marquesses. Thank you for taking me along your journeys!
Looks like a fun trip. I hope to make it out to the Dry Tortugas one day. When talking about cooking Sierra used her adult voice. Her adult voice is very nice.
Nicely done kids. I have not followed much since the new boat was delivered and you had a few maiden voyage trips. It is fun watching you two mature. I can see a lot of changes in yall. Glad yall are enjoying the new boat. Cheers and pleasant sails.
Yrs and yrs ago I went to Mykonos Island in Greece with some friends. One was an avid windsurfer and decided to head out in seemingly calm conditions (ie perfect force Beaufort 5 = 17-21 knots). However, he had never heard about the *maïstráli,* the mistral winds that blows north to south(ish), that can blow up to extreme strong strength instantly and hit you like a barn door. Since the rest of us were more occupied with our daily consumption of cold Volkan beer in the sheltered taverna than keeping track of our off-the-shelf athlete, we forgot about him until it was time to get ready to conquer the local "blondes" in town. Ohhh, where is Tarzan? After several hours and an emerging darkness we saw him limping at us up the beach, still wet, but also shivering and with red, bloody hands. The wind had picked up to force strength and he hadn't been able to tack back. If that local fisherman hadn't seen him his next landfall would have been Naxos, if not, he might have ended up as a dead trunk on the shores of Egypt. Lesson learned: have a back-up plan, in his case: never stray too far away from the cold ones ....
sounds like you need an autopilot? These vids have been a really good ad for this new Corsair trimaran. Really fun to see all the coastal cruising you've been doing when some people might think you need a much larger boat.👍🏾
The water clarity is awesome - I need a day at the beach now :) thanks guys. I can't wait for you to get the new boat. The adventures you're going to have together
Billy "One pot wonders" is a term that's been around longer than your parents, my wife is really good at them, and one of us will eat from the pot (no dishwasher in our house so it's less washing up)
You should have been to those keys in the late 40's to late 50's. At times you could not see the bottom in the lagoon at Dry Tortuga for the mackerel schools (couldn't fish them because the park). You could load you boat with snapper and grouper in the Marquesas in one day.
Great as always 👏👏 I’m editing my comment! This one is over the top good with the slow motion and the scenic ending! Drone , kiteboarding, and Jetty this one is crazy good!
Is it going to be hard giving up the Corsair when your new boat is ready? They are such an exceptional sailing platform, we are loving ours, Julie solved the issue of the one burner stove, she purchased a two burner hotplate that we run from our Honda generator, we also have a Magma Marine Kettle 3 gas grill onboard that we use quite often.........
Love it guys! Needed a good sailing vid after having my trip back to the boat in Spain bumped again...🤦🏻♂️ Can’t wait to get ourselves back out to Fl soon!
Dry Tortuga and Marquessa look great. I think you would have enjoyed seeing more of the Ten Thousand Islands. You can be by yourself there. I'd the 880 now at the Finish Line in Stuart? I saw one with same orange seats and sail covers in their yard. Why didn't you buy your Seawind through them instead of from MA?
Yup that’s the 880 at finish line getting ready for her new owner. We did not buy our Seawind through either finish line or the multihull source in MA.
That’s so sad to hear! Find out what you enjoy and make it happen. If you like sailing get a small boat and sail on a bay or lake - it doesn’t have to be the open ocean. A lot of times you just have to make your own fun. Go and have a nice summer - you deserve it!
I remember watching that episode! Has it been 4 years? I would say Sierra has definitely become much more comfortable on camera. Otherwise you’re both as sweet as ever.
Any updates on the new boat??? I know it originally was scheduled for around now, but you said there were delays due to the situation. Can't wait to see you guys out there, better than ever. Please keep us updated.
You know I sure love the channel. Its so well done amd so enjoyable to watch. Only thing is its getting harder to enjoy the adds for the sailing stuff you use to fill in the time.
Hi , big fan of your channel! I was wondering if you could provide some feedback related to how the Torqeedo electric motor is working out? Distance - range on a single charge ? Speed - accuracy of the Battery charge indicator? I’m looking to get an electric motor for an inflatable and would appreciate any information you may provide …
I see the generator made a special guest appearance in this video… I still laugh when I remembered the debate you guys had as to whether not it was needed lol looks like it’s a keeper
This one is a Yamaha, so it’s not the same one. :-) that one was a Honda EU2000. I sure do remember that debate also. It was funny to me because we have a Honda EU200 on our sailboat, and I would never take it off the boat.
I've been following you guys forever from my personal channel where I 'watch' from, and I just realized I have another channel that I 'share' from! So I'm your old friend giving an extra sub to you. As always, another great video. Thanks for being awesome! Love, Peace, & Prayers.
I'm sure it's a dumb question but is there ever a risk of getting stuck? I assume that small gas motor has a limited distance. Is there just always enough wind or is wind forecast accurate enough?
Hey Billy and Sierra how do you connect your I pad with GPS? Hotspot to your phone or do you have a data plan for the I pad? I'm thinking about upgrading our tec for boating. Either purchasing a new tablet or laptop. Appreciate your input. Cheers Robin
you need to get yourself a steamer. Spuds or pasta in the water, veg and protein in the steamer... So how do you charge the electric outboard... Does it self charge ff the prop...
I saw a video that said that a sailboat can travel downwind by tacking, faster than the air is moving. For example, a balloon is released as a sailboat passes by. By judicious use of tacking, the sailboat will pull ahead of the wind driven balloon. True or false. Test?
Best thing for seasickness is to take the helm. This way you can anticipate the movement of the boat and it takes your mind off the seasickness.
It also means you look out to the horizon rather than focusing on boat so your eyes quit focusing on the boats local horizon and warring with the information from your inner ear.
The best cure for seasickness is to sit under a tree. - Spike Milligan
Hope y'all smooth sailing
LOL He has the perfect answer YOU LOOK YOUNGER. I can't wait till y'all have the new boat. Live well be happy!!!!🤠
Got enough battery to pick him up
Worse comes to worse
He rows you back 😂
You guys are living the dream

I love Sierra’s honesty about those less than great sailing voyages. But those are the ones that make the good ones even better! Thanks for the honesty in your depictions. You’re both awesome 😎.
Another fab episode, agreed Jetty is a cool sea dog, but so are the 2 captains.

Now that was an excellent sailing video. Now you have me thinking about those trailerable trimarans and super shallow draft. Mucho ❤️
Sorry had to add another text. You are so lucky not only can she save you she can COOK LOL🤠
We took the float plane out there between Christmas and New Years right before Covid started. Great place to visit....
I am really digging your adventures on the trimaran. I am.sure it is not easy as you make it seem. Keep making these great videos. Sierra nothing has changed you look as beautiful as ever.
Billy an serra love ur vids.. congrats on ur engagement .you video ur wedding 💒💒 bet serra going to be a beautiful bride love you guys❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

That little boat is super cool. The more y’all do on it the more I like it!🙌🏼

Love it Billy asking for permission to buy a bit of play equipment and Sierra carried on talking lol
Tanks Nice voyage Alex from Québec
I’ve been off a bit and trying to catch up.
Loved seeing your beautiful faces. 😘🤗

Nice tan and great sense of adventure. I would bet Sierra's previous career was Olympian.
Love y’all! Water is absolutely gorgeous in the Tortugas. What a cool place and looking forward to checking out the Marquesses. Thank you for taking me along your journeys!
You are a wonderful couple to watch. Thanks for sharing your life with us.
Jetty is such an amazing pup. Just love her demeanor.
You're living my dream guys ... Take good care of it !!
Stay Safe & Fair Winds !!

Thanks for posting and sharing. Nice to see Dry Tortugas, and Marquesas
Great video thx for sharing! Nice Tula hat!
Another great video, if two people were ever meant to be together it is you two.
I agree with your protection against wind burn on your face. I always use suntan lotion on my face. I despise wind burn
Very beautiful 😍👍

Jeti likes the orange chair. That seems to be a great boat to explore in.
Beautiful water where you guys were. STUNNING
The Marquesses look spectacular and I’m so glad you took us there with you. I could spend weeks exploring their beautiful splendor!

I love that Trimaran. Shame you didn't get the expected speed in it on that trip. Keep up the brilliant quality work.
Friggin frigates!
Great video guys! You do an awesome job of capturing the three of you and some cool POV stuff.
You should have been to those keys in the late 40's to late 50's. At times you could not see the bottom in the lagoon at Dry Tortuga for the mackerel schools (couldn't fish them because the park). You could load you boat with snapper and grouper in the Marquesas in one day.
when you said Marquesas i was thinking south pacific, so i learned something today, did not know there was such a place in us territory.

Need to get a foil such fun in light winds
Love watching!

Your the best! Thank you!!!
Great location thanks for taking us along I think I’ve seen some of that scenery in a James Bond movie maybe Thunderball? Anyway thanks again
I just dropped a thin framed two burner Colman stove in my little sailboat.
Title should have been.........”Sierra saves Billy from drifting out to sea”. 🥰😊
When do you get your new boat? I'm so excited to see it
love your videos.....but, at 1:25 I see you have a life vest on, but nothing on the doggie??? would hate to see him go overboard in those seas!
Curious on what your expectations are for your new boat being done and when is the wedding date????? Absolutely love watching you three.
I absolutely love your hair band, that you are wearing in this episode please tell me the brand??
Last time I was in the Tortugas, there was a crocodile living in the moat.
No way!! When was that??
@@Tulasendlesssummer It was 2015 I think. Was there right before covid and heard he hasn't been seen in a few years. Guess he moved on.
Did you get to go diving at all in the Marquesa Keys?
What is the range on your electric outboard? We are an electric drive Bristol 35, S/Y Rain Finger.
I'm sure it's a dumb question but is there ever a risk of getting stuck? I assume that small gas motor has a limited distance. Is there just always enough wind or is wind forecast accurate enough?
I have not watched for awhile, what new boat are they getting? Is it a sponsor boat? TIA
With the single burner try an Omnia Oven. It is a pretty cool way to increase your cooking capabilities.
Question? How to do you charge the dingy and camera gear?
Shush it's a pocket generator don't tell anybody 👍😁😱
Hey Billy and Sierra how do you connect your I pad with GPS? Hotspot to your phone or do you have a data plan for the I pad? I'm thinking about upgrading our tec for boating. Either purchasing a new tablet or laptop. Appreciate your input. Cheers Robin

You guys will lose each other when you get the new boat after living on the tri . Any update on when to expect it?
Do you give Jetty Cerenia for sea sickness when you travel?
They give him Fentanyl.
I saw a video that said that a sailboat can travel downwind by tacking, faster than the air is moving. For example, a balloon is released as a sailboat passes by. By judicious use of tacking, the sailboat will pull ahead of the wind driven balloon. True or false. Test?
During the recent America’s Cup the foiling monohulls were routinely making much better upwind and downwind Vmg than the true wind speed.
What's your take on the fact of not having a bimini & dodger? Has being in element all the time affected you from the cruiser POV?
